Hello! Im a beginner level fusion designer. Im currently working towards designing jewerly. I would like to know how you started learning the program and how you improved your skills when you began. Any tutorials youd recommend or tips you have for starters? Id appreciate a few recommendations.

Hey! I think the simplest and most understandable option is to start by copying classic jewelry from famous brands. There are many images of them on the Internet from various angles. They are quite simple and monotonous, but this is exactly what you need. It will also be a plus that they have already perfected the sizes of prongs and various small elements. it is with these pieces of jewelry that most people have difficulty. Lessons can be viewed not only for fusion, but also for any similar programs, because the modeling techniques are similar.

good tutorial,, looks like Autodesk Inventor..but There is an easy way to copy the extrude on the path curve as an inventor (sketch driven) so didn't repeat extrude worked..But I watched your worked in great detail...but anyway I still used the standard jewelry design from rhinoceros.

Hey Artem, sorry to be a pain. I recently did a ring and I drew the stone too close to each other 😒. When I went to set the girdles were touching! Do you have a formula for the space between stones? For me it's either too much gap or not enough. Thank you man! Tony (Do you run a class or something online?)

Hey! Much depends on the stones and where they are set. For example, for pavé from circles, you can start from the following numbers: the distance between the stones is 10% of their diameter, and the diameter of the prongs is 35% of the stone's diameter, but not less than 0.32 mm. Sometimes I teach personally for a person, but there is no experience online and in English.

Hey is there anyway to condense all those sketches and planes into a folder on the time line. I am doing a ring with 40-50 melee stones and I'm getting confused.

Yes, folders for sketches are sometimes very enough. But in the timeline, you can group many commands into one folder.
