Yes you are right. I think its better to hoard all goodies in your caravan inventory - food, healing items , weapons. And move the cart near your contract destination. When in danger you can always fall back to the caravan. Rest there.

I have not tried it but would it be worth it to relocate your caravan close to the quest site? That way you have shorter trip to food, medicine and recouping. Just a thought.

I think it is! I didn't realize how much this would help, but I should definitely move it more often.

How about carrying a backpack but dropping it at the entrance of dungeons and equipping a protective coat when going into a proper fight? Best of the two worlds.

I got a question about the contract quests, have you been offered more than 2 of them from the village heads when they restarted after 4 or so days? When I played before they let you do 3, not sure if it's different now.

For me, I have only seen 2 at a time so far since the update! But I *think* if you have a better relationship with the town, you can get more offerings as a perk, but I'm not sure on that!

@@DrIncompetentThat could possibly be so, as I had 2 contracts offered with a mercenary event telling me I had 1 contract less on offer. Will have to check after the restart again.
