Thank you Josh today I learned a lot, the ABIs manure spreader did a fantastic job. Always, one of been track but then once I got my first tractor with a loader I decide I'd never buy another one that didn't have a loader so that was the drawback to the been track now with a high lift loader they may have just solved that problem. And as far as that TR three goes I'm just truly amazed I have never seen a machine that could so completely make a seedbed with the possible exception of the rotor tiller which has many more moving parts.

We have a three-stall horse barn and generally have two or three horses in them every night. Several years ago I purchased one of ABI spreaders a 25 (small one) and I pull it with my Polaris Ranger 900. It is fantastic and it is ground driven and built just like the big boys' spreader. It is several years old and is still just like new and I use it nearly every day, winter and summer. We named it Cutie Pie!

Our manure spreader is two strong arms and a manure shovel. We compost our turds for a couple years beforehand. Interesting to see another side of the concept though. We work about 50 acres of land out here 20 for produce rest for cows and pigs. 75 all told, acres that is, but the other 15 is untouched woodland. Almost everything we do is by hand Thanks from another Hoosier

With a garden this year I watched a lot of channels on what they used for fertilizer. So I went my own way. I took a little piece of my property that was used as a garden years ago and went down to my local food store. They had organic cow manure. Took a tiller to it and with what we got for weather, my crops would not stop growing. My pumpkin plant alone went totally out of control. I have never seen a like. I asked the store owner if he could get it in for next year. He said yes. I told him on my experience with it. Simple cow manure. No 1 part this or that. Unreal. Yet they dump tons of chemicals into our food and have a bad time trying to grow it and all it takes is feed a cow and collect and down the road eat the cow. Thanks for sharing these really beautiful pieces of equipment.

I have a smallholding in Scotland, soil building and holistic (practical not with religious zeal) farming has been my aim for 13 years. I practise rotational grazing, pasture top after every cycle and it works. We had stone outcrops visible when we bought the place and it scarcely supported half the animals it does now. The outcrops are now covered with soil, the sward is dense and vibrant and our carrying capacity has doubled. We balance Ph with lime, we aerate to alleviate compaction, prevent waterlogging and to encourage clover deposition of nitrogen. We do not require bag chemicals to maintain our grazing though we use some to generate hay yields in our short window of opportunity. We actively compost our muck from our livestock sheds to alleviate the temporary nitrogen leeching when raw muck with straw is applied. It is great to see someone who is practising the same techniques as we do and who manages to be practical without being preachy. There is a lot of good farming being done by folk without agendas and I'm glad you are one of those folk. Regards from Scotland.

That manure spreader is very similar to a 1960's vintage New Holland manure spreader we still have, but no longer use here or our farm. Ours is a little larger, is P.T.O. driven, does not have hydraulics like the new machine. Our spreader has an oak wood floor that was changed out one time. On our model, the box sides were guaranteed for life and we did replace the box sections at no cost one time years ago and the box is still in great shape. I do like the polymer material floor. That material was not available back when we rebuilt the floor or I definitely would have used it. Our New Holland manure spreader has been down graded to a fire wood hauling trailer, with the beaters removed. The drag chain can still be used to unload the trailer/ex-manure spreader. Our old machine did a great job, I really like the looks of the new machine in operation. The technology is very well proven. Nick, North West Farmer

Cool implements. Did not know Eustace was a neighbor of sorts. So cool. Nice with the ventrac one less tire for now means less cheering up if grounds. But when you need it you can put them on. Cool organic farming at it's best. Grow some cabbage in field harvest or. With the scraps on field put up a fence. And bring your own or a friend's pigs to turn the soil eat foliage, and fertilize. Use the lane plane to smooth before growing. If those were Weeds in the grass there gone with no chemical. 😃
