Awesome. I love how you farm. I wished all farmers had declined the Government subsidies. They probably wished it more now. Thank you for showing how to videos! Very informative.

Hi from Columbia SC, I quit watching your channel because I didn't enjoy it, You seemed bossy and angry. But I watched one when you were tried to mske things work with your ex, ( they never lose the bad it comes back with them ) I kept watching a few vidoes. You seem so much happier and smil alot. Your went from don't watch to love watching. You are one of my favorites and check to make sure I haven't missed one. Thank you for the happiness you bring in my life. Keep smiling. Love your lives❤❤❤❤.

glad to hear, I'm really not proud that folks have said this to me, let me give you some back story here .......behind the scenes, here's what you need to know. I dearly loved Mrs SRF, but something was lacking in the "farm sensibility" department as it pertained to living here with the animals...including the dogs and cats. I'm telling ya this so you understand how things went. She never really seemed to take interest in the farm and the home, or the animals and garden. Most every time we were on film together, there was some sort of fuss, argument or knock down drag out baby fit that went on just prior to filming. Probably why you picked up on a bit of tension...and that I had to tell her every single move to make or she simply wouldn't do anything. From almost getting her hair caught in the wood splitter, to nearly ripping her arm off in the honey extractor. I just couldn't seem to get her onboard with the work and the safety aspect. Don't get me wrong, she loved coming home to a big ol place that was well manicured...and a hard working man that cared for her. Let me assure you that the closer we got to the end of our relationship....the worse things got in the home. Basically....I was forced to do most everything on the farm, from cooking to building the fences. We'd always fuss about nothing every single time we did anything together. It wasn't like that in the beginning of our relationship....but after 10 years or so I'd start catching her in lies. Lies and things like this; Simple things around the farm like me asking..."honey, don't feed the chickens just yet or gather the eggs, we're gonna do a chicken video together" and 10 mins later she'd be down there getting the eggs.....here's another one: "honey, why don't we take the puppies out and put them in the yard for a bit in the little puppy pen".....6 hours later and 95 degrees, with no water! ....I find she left them out in the hot sun and all of them were nearly having a heat stroke....they were flaccid and we had to take measures to cool them off and get them fluids. I'm sorry that my feelings and subconscious distrust for her came out in my personality on the videos. There's so much more to our breakup, but I can tell you...trust was our number 1 problem. We simply could not work together as a team in any way....and then the lies came in. After she came back 15 times...I still couldn't stop the lies from ruining our relationship. Thank you for recognizing that I'm a much happier person again....I have the spring in my step again and it's so nice to get the creative juices flowing. Sorry you ever saw me as bossy....I just felt like I was raising a child sometimes...and a man should never feel that way with his wife...she should always be his equal....and both partners should always treat each other with respect. I'm very happy with the woman I'm dating now, she's sweet, smart and good to me. Hopefully it keeps going well as time goes on...maybe someday you'll see her on the channel

As a construction worker all my life, there were many sayings and little words used around others. When driving a car and you have a passenger next to you and you ask them is it clear. The worse words to use is no or go. The two sound too much alike you can get confused. Use a word or words like, "It is clear or don't go. If you are using a cutting torch overhead of anyone, always holler down, "Fire in the hole". Josh is doing the right thing here. In the habit of being safe.

Dude, talking about your "love life" is one of the things I love about your channel. You keep it real. You're a brave man to open yourself up to the "relationship experts" the way you do. Personally, I have never had a relationship that went south that has ever been successfully rekindled. The reasons for the breakup always have resurfaced. Luckily, I'm in my 37th year of marriage to the best lady on the planet FOR ME. She both challenges me to be better, and forgives my shortcomings. (And vice-versa. ) Know you will find that kind of happiness. Don't be too quick to publicize it on Ytube. Not everyone wants to be a known figure.

I agree....and great to hear you like me sharing some of my personal life.....this farm, property and work isn't for everyone...it will take a special person with work ethic and a love for the outdoors to be happy here on this place

Haha! You were talking love life and went right into “I’m looking for a Smoker”, I knew you meant for the Bees, but the timing of the statement made me laugh. I think you will find the right Woman that loves Stoney Ridge and everything you believe in and especially you. We always seem to meet them when we are not looking for a relationship. God. There were lessons there to take from and do better next time or you had to go through something difficult (like finding out the other person is not who you wanted them to be, you couldn’t except that other persons ( faults and all) where the good out weighs the bad. Infidelity was always the deal breaker though, just cannot unring that Bell. Don’t need to know the reasons, it is sad when you want it to work, but deep down you know it will not. God’s unanswered prayer-for real-not just a song. She’s out there and when you meet her, you will know. When you least expect it. Or that’s been my experience. Just wish that for you. Great video! I get so much from watching and I’m trying to get my Husband on board and interested.
