This has to be the best tv show I've ever seen... Educational, entertaining, and provided a lot of backstory. To hell with you, Game of Thrones, this is way better! (No offence to those who actually like Game of Thrones or anything)

The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles is objectively better than Game of Thrones. The latter is a fad, the former is excellent build up to 3 legend motion pictures.

GOT have too many hated characters anyway.

“Your little adventure” is gotta be the most belittling thing ever to say to your son that just got back from surviving ww1, I can see why they didn’t talk for 20 years after that

It's great knowing that the adventure they have together in The Last Crusade is what ends up reconciling their relationship.

While I completely agree with you, I think Henry was just being sarcastic, given that Indy and his cousin's trip wasn't supposed to take longer than a couple of days. And since Indy joined the war effort without at least making a quick stop back to his relatives' home to let them know he was alive and well, WW1 is technically an extension of his original plans, reductive as it may seem.

Stoo, thank you so much for posting this. I have never seen these bookends before and it has helped me with a project that I am working on. Thanks again!

You're very welcome, Canyon. What project would that be? Something for "Indymag"? ;-)

Can't say thanks enough for making these availble...but thanks again.

No, it's not for Indymag. I completed my Grail diary a while ago and after, decided to do my own Indy journals. I am now up to 1918. I plan to journal everything up to the end of the 1940's.

At least they ended the series with him leaving home to study archeology.

Wow I surprised to see how much is changed and edited from the DVD version. My favourite Young Indy episode by far (other than Scandal of the 1920's of course for obvious reasons ;-) Nice to see this thanks!

The expansion of Travels With Father for VHS/DVD I feel helped the story. I think the fight between them was added.
@codyhoskins13193 жыл бұрын
The fight that was included on The Winds of Change you mean where they shout at each other after disagreeing on the Treaty of Versailles and Indy brings up his mother. I don't know if the whole Princeton half, which also included the character of Amy and Paul Robeson, was shot during the production of this version of Travels With Father or after when all the episodes were getting combined for the video releases.
@pferreira19833 жыл бұрын
@@codyhoskins1319 I believe they were shot after. I think a couple of episodes like this the Paul Robeson story were filmed just for the VHS releases. Tangiers is another episode.
@codyhoskins13193 жыл бұрын
@@pferreira1983 That would make sense. Flanery definitely looked kind of old in all the new footage that wasn't in the televised Travels With Father. The Tangiers episode definitely stuck out like a sore thumb with the age and look of Corey Carrier next to the Egypt episode.
@pferreira19833 жыл бұрын
@@codyhoskins1319 Yeah it kind of did. The linking scene in Journey of Radiance is the worst as Carrier is clearly 10 years old and his voice is almost broken in the scene.

@@codyhoskins1319 The four episodes either extended or completely new are Palestine, October 1917, Tangiers, May 1908, Morocco, November 1917 Princeton, May 1919 Then new bits were filmed and added to bridge segments and create new intros to episodes.
