No. Imo I didn't think they cheated,. cuz anyone could've use them really. But the Astros between 2016-2019 were using an unfair advantage that not everyone had access too. AND..... roids weren't illegal then! What Astros did was.

Not ashamed but should be in my opinion. I understand the resins they didn’t but it was against the rules.

Take steroids then and show up at MLB tryouts in the spring. Lol. You’ll make it. It’s so easy after all.
@SuperCatacata9 күн бұрын
If it's against the rules. But the MLB is willingly ignoring it and letting it happen to make more money. It's not actually against the rules.

It’s called the “Steroid era” for a very good reason. We also had whites only era. Both eras allowed by the MLB. And remember that the MLB commissioner during the steroid era was elected to the Hall of Fame

It was more than just steroids with Sammy at the end. The way he left was part of that, too.

Ill never ask them to apologize, they are grown men who made choices that lead to inflated numbers and contracts BUT they dont deserve to be in the record books or HOF.

Selig needs his plaque taken down. Dude took credit for a problem he helped create

Wasn't against the rules at the time.

BTW… expansion, juiced balls, and these little league ball parks are the new steroid. This league already has 100 minor leaguers playing in the MLB and there’s talk of adding another 52 minor leaguers into the MLB

Baseball and rules have been in a jousting match since pro ball was put together. They were professional and they made a choice at the time. No apology is required. Im with your opinion.

If you’re going to be mad at the players that did it, be mad at the players, the coaches, front offices and MLB that knew it was happening and didn’t do anything about it for a long time. Oh and be mad at yourself because I haven’t heard anyone say they weren’t loving that era. You were giving them your money so of course they were just going to let it happen because it was putting butts in the seats! They could have stopped it if they actually wanted to.

Sick Cheating all they’re missing is beating Trashcan or wearing a wire telling them the pitch!! But I’m sure there were many!!

If I have it correct the Cubs got Sammy Sosa to issue a statement apologizing for his past. So that they would welcome him back "to the cubs family".

MLB had zero issues with it. Put then In the hall. Guys were snorting cocaine in the clubhouse in the 70’s and 80’s. Like there is some moral higher ground in baseball.

People still crying about the roiders needed to hear it People like Big Papi were on Roids too, but nobody cares. Every single great player besides like 3 of the top 20 back then was on the juice.
@chrisweidner476810 күн бұрын
No way should they apologize. In fact, MLB needs to admit to endorsing their use. MLB was dying. NCAA and NFL football players were making MLB players look like high school kids. MLB embraced PEDs as a business decision to survive. Way past time to stop throwing the best players of the era under the bus. MLB needs to own it and move on.
