**STOP BEING NICE AND UNLOCK BEAST MODE** pt.1

This is part 1 of "Stop Being So Nice" where I explain why I'm making the shift and part 2 will talk about how to unlock beast mode. The funny thing is, I used to be sooooo nice, but have learned over the years that my kindness was routinely taken advantage of and that being nice or worrying about how I appeared to other people was really holding me back big time!
Helping people that can't help me at a later date was at a huge detriment to my growth. Part 2 is going to be epic... BEAST MODE INITIATED!

Preach it, Sister!! Yes, we do need more kindness and grace in general, but there is a big difference between being nice and being a fool or a doormat. And that homeless guy who followed you--yikes!! We need to teach girls early on that they DO NOT owe any man anything, even a smile. I think we are conditioned from an early age to think we are being bitches if we don't respond to any comment or look a man gives us. Suck it up ladies, pay no attention to what they THINK you are. You KNOW who you are, so own it! And I love the airline oxygen analogy. I wish one of my family members understood that one. You can't run the well nearly dry and then expect more water.

🦋💆🏽‍♀️Even with family, when you get in a good financial position… keep yo mouth shut 🤐 about it!!! Because the wolves & scammy ones among them come out. They will go after your kids even. 😱 We’re black women. Our lives depend on not having those dangerous & unsettling interactions. You must always expect it & don’t talk to these strangers out here in the streets.
