73 years young, knees don't work like they use to. Try not to bend to far forward don't like falling off the shot. Tried to put right side of foot on floor toward left wall, to make knee bend deeper, ankle is to bad to do that (pain). Mostly try acting like I'm going to set down on a chair. A lot of us seniors need help with our bowling forms now.

Keep these great learning tutorials videos coming. This video just gave me a ah ha moment. I going to try and remember good posture spine tilt in tomorrow’s bowling league. I know this will work! 👍

Thank you for the video. One request. When making a video where you are showing spine tilt, it would have helped me a lot if you would have had a camera shot from the side. From the back, I couldn't tell if you were leaning 10 degrees or 45 degrees. I understand the concept, but I couldn't see how much tilt was acceptable. Thanks again.

I had this problem for some time. Lot of tilt, super high back swing, bad timing, bad balance. For me the bad tilt was created in my push away. What helped me was to feel like I'm leaning backwards (like sitting in a chair) in my setup and try to keep that feel throughout the approach. Also do my fair share of no steps/ 1-steps and that helps too. Definitely saw a difference in my roll after fixing this

I’m 68 years old and just started bowling again last season, after a 35+ year hiatus from bowling, due to multiple injuries and two back surgeries that were only partially successful. I’m now finding that my back pain is giving me less problems than pain in my hand at the gap between my middle and ring fingers. I’m not sure if it’s arthritis or if I need to rework the drilling of my balls. For now, I’m just trying to get by with analgesic cream (like Ben-Gay), to ease the pain enough so I can continue bowling. I have to get at least one 300 game before I give up on bowling and I think I can. My best game last year was a 289.

Love this video. I appreciate it because lately, I've been working on getting lower at the foul line for accuracy, so this video will really help me thanks.

I use the dots at the fowl line to guide my shot. Consequently, I catch myself doing exactly what you mentioned bending too far forward. I seem to do better standing straighter on my spares. I will take this advice and try to improve my posture.

too much spine tilt also tends to force you to come around the outside of the ball.

This is another problem that can be fixed by the basic( foul line/one step drill.) That drill can cover alot of problems.

I'm not sure if you done a video on this but can you do a video on how to get a higher backswing and incorporate it into your approach? My backswing only comes to my hips and has since I was akid cuz I was afraid of dropping the ball.

Same for me, but I have learned to embrace it. At 5'7" and 145 lbs, I'm never going to be a power guy. I focus on hitting my marks, consistent release and adjusting as needed. Like in golf, figure out what works best for you and work with that.

Thank you...spine tilt has been my problem. I thought I just had weak wrists and always dumping into the lane. Wrecking my balls with dumping marks too. Thank you

I agree. I tried bending over for a smoother swing and it killed my game. Far less spin and I couldn’t afford to loose any spin.

As a righty I started standing like 👣with my left foot angled more left. It seemed to keep me more upright and in a better position at the foul line

Keep your spine straight (it may have a tilt on the sides because of ball weight). You may have a little bend but not, too much. And..."wait for the ball reach the bottom of the swing & release" to avoid those double bounce. Also, having a strong mid-core helps, too. I hope this helps, too.

Dude, i always enjoy the content, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, can you PLEASE use a different picture in your next video posting?!?!?!???? Perhaps something without some dumb, fake expression??? I know, I know.....I'm being a jerk, and you're far from the only bowling-tuber that does it, but I also know I'm not the only one thinking it.
