Bowling with two hands kinda feels like pulling your pants all the way down to your ankles when you’re at the urinal. both ways work just fine. one just looks a little funny.

I have some interest in the Big Boy. I bought the package with the smaller trainer and stand. However, I never received the stand. I sent an email about it, but haven't received a reply. Do to my previous ordering experience, I'm hesitant about ordering any additional products. Any response would be appreciated.

Im 15 boards left of my target. That 7 board thing is another bowlers thought. Finally realized this after looking at foul line no drift from 12 ft of approach.

Its Christmas vacation weeks for the kids and the proprietor is heavy oiling beginning of day. Not good for 5 games at noon, then kids come in at 3,then their money paying leagues get a nice house shot, all without re oiling for 6:30.

this is cool but my question is can you put that rack in a vertical position in a corner of the closet? since my closet isnt wide enough to fit that size rack. i know it would limit me to only 4 bowling balls in the rack but if they are $60 a piece then two or three of them would work for me

Yes I am super closed. My chest, hips, shoulders. It has to be the hardest part for me is to open everything. I need something that goes over the front of my body that will not let me or someone walking with me who pokes and pushes me with sticks. 😂

Please answer a question for me. I had one guy drill the thumb hole exactly triangular with the fingerholes. Another guy drilled the thumbhole underneath the middle finger. In other words the thumbhole is lined up under the middle finger. Is either one of these wrong or right? I want to buy a new ball and I dont know which guy to go to. Thank you very much in advance.

You are right. There are people that don’t deserve to be on staff. For you to be on staff you gotta work in the pro shop. It’s based on favoritism. I have asked to work in the pro shop or to learn. No one never told me I needed to go to school for it till my mentor told me last year. I am very blessed and honored to be his student. People I see that are on staff that averages below 220 and have 5 or zero 300s or have 3 or zero 800 series yet they are on staff because they work in the pro shop. When I have more than they do. Let alone average better than them. Some staff members are overrated because they work in a pro shop yet they want me to throw their equipment. Nope. I’m not doing it unless they let me work in the pro shop, I get the ball for free, or the ball is under a $100. There are people like me or that have more honor scores than me having the same problem. I know some that back it up and show why they are staff. Not because they work in a pro shop.

For some reason, the past few seasons in league I've been focused on hitting a specific board 10-15 ft down the lane. As a result, my average has dropped 20+ pins. There was a time when I just visualized an area down the lane to hit and let everything else fall in place. Starting to think I messed up big time. However, in tournaments and Nationals, my average has gone up 30-40 pins. So confusing.

I was lucky enough to spend a weekend working with CK Moore. He literally smacked me in the head and told me stop looking at arrows and dots. He explained that what I needed to worry about the break point. Find it. Then move my body around it until it struck. So I did. He explained that, yes, your ball can do certain things before it gets to the break point, that it didn't really matter until that moment, when it turned my ball toward the pocket. So that made sense. So I tried that. And how shocking, he was correct. So now I can't even look at the dots, or the arrows. I can't understand anyone who does. Yes, I understand the three point targeting system. I just never use the arrows or dots. I don't even know what board my ball crosses at the arrows. I kind of use the pocket as part of my targeting with a quick glance before focusing on the break point, but that is about it. Where all my "buddies" use the dots or arrows, and continually cry about how they hit the arrow and why didn't it strike.. I smile to myself. They are so worried about this one little board, meanwhile I tell them I am rolling at a "swimming pool".. I have at least a five or six board area I can roll over and hit pocket. And to tell the truth, I hate when I hit exactly where I am looking.. that one little half inch spot in the middle of my "pool" because it looks so perfect.. that I know I am leaving a ten pin. I look down lane and see this huge area of miss room. Inside? It slides across the oil and boom. Outside? It breaks a little harder and boom. All I need to do is find the angle that makes my ball roll into the pocket. So I do that during practice. I find it. I use it. As it transitions, so do I. My angles may change, my break point does not for the most part. I have learned to adjust my eyes farther down if the lanes are drying out during a tourney. Maybe a foot or two, but the theory is the same. Heavier oil, I adjust my eyes closer. Maybe that is not normal, but it seems if I want my ball to break at forty feet, I just roll it there, and on the same lane, if I need it to turn at forty three feet, I just roll it there. Perhaps I am weird that way. I don't know. None of my buddies can do it. Except one, and he was mentored by CK as a teen. But anyways. I can't use dots or arrows now. I just use my eyes, and roll where I think I need it to turn left. It's probably wrong to create my own break point, that is not always at the end of the oil pattern. And maybe that is not actually happening, and it just looks that way. But it sure looks like it is to me. And learning it took me from a 180ish to a 220ish avg. And it really helps me on challenge and sports shots. Rolling on a 37 foot pattern and deciding I want my ball to turn left at 43 and it does is a big help. I can start by standing on the 15 board and end up on the 30 board just by changing the angle I need to roll up. But this tool you have created.. I'm telling all my buddies about it. I think it's a fantastic idea. I can see how it will help them tremendously. Anyways, always a big fan of yours. Excellent vid. ^^^note: We don't have range finder boards at my House so that sucks

Power players don't make it They're not consistent and don't make the cut consistantly look at this. Norm Duke, Walter Ray, pete Weber ,Johnny Petraglia , and other players who MAKE THE SHOW REGULARLY What these bowlers have in common is acuracy and straight down and in. These players are not power players . So there you have it true facts. And how come the power players don't make it consistantly .

The houses I bowl at are older. So that being said I wipe my ball off every time just to get whatever dirt the ball might get on it from the shaker pit to the ball return. Plus I have always wipe my ball off as a kind of routine. To take a breath before my shot. Plus if I'm waiting on someone to bowl it gives me a chance to be patient relax and then go make my shot. I really think it doesn't make a difference.

This was another excellent video. I was going to ask a question, but you answered it near the end. I knew that you couldn't adjust the surface with the ball you start with once competition. I wasn't sure if you could surface a different ball one time before it is brought into play, but you clarified that it is not allowed to surface any ball once competition starts.

Been bowling 60 years and what is being taught now is the complete way of what we were instructed NO to do when I was 10 years old. I was taught to “stay behind the ball and lift with your fingertips”and “don’t turn your hand over.” I averaged in the 190’s for several years as an adult on wood lanes and then the synthetic ones came around. New type of lane conditions with much more oil until I had to learn all over again. However, bowling is still the best! Good video and instructions.

I often use a laser pointer during my coaching to help the client stay on target. This would be a great tool for coaches. But I agree with other comments. 1. Practice practice practice! There is no tool that substitutes for this. 2. The laser here is just a “laser level” that we use in construction, be careful not to charge more than Home Depot. 😊

Lol, the irony. So, the answer to getting better at bowling is using lazers. But, the answer to keep bowling alive is......strings? Yea, stringpins is bullshit and you know it. Just be honest and admit that you're pro string pins because you are putting your pocketbook over the purity of the game. There is no way you prefer string pins over free fall if your pocketbook was out of the equation
