Soft paint brush for dusting, Yes. Great tip, surprising how many folks don't have one. I play Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 9-46 on most of my guitars (good set for Gibs/Epis), 10s on the Tele and Strat. Ernie Ball's wire supplier for strings supposedly sources their steel from recycled propane tanks, that's pretty cool.

it's worth noting that some of that gear can be bought cheapish on the used market, I got my interface and half of my pedals used and they work great!
