The way the Stairway solo strats is pretty much a staple of blues. Such an important thing to learn

Keep making these videos the way you do them! I take you more seriously because you obviously approach this in a very serious way.

The way you dance around the fretboard is extremely impressive! What progress you have made! In my field, we call what you describe here "stealing like an artist". You break down what other people are doing into little pieces, rotate some, reorder some, and then, ta-da, you get a new idea. We do it all the time! There's the old saying, "There's nothing original under the sun", and it's true enough! Fantastic job! Long live Ukraine!

Guitar lore: Gilmour actually used a Les Paul Junior or Special with P90’s plugged straight into a mixing board for the Brick in the Wall solo.

no way really?
@detroit802617 күн бұрын
@ yes yes! It makes sense, too, because you can hear that p90 thicccness - it’s a very jazzy tone that’s distinct from a Stratocaster neck or middle pickup. Edit: Bob Ezrin said it in an interview, that’s how I learned that.

The first thing that I learned from the stairway to heaven solo was why Page choose to play that F note over the F chord, it wasn't just blues or pentatonics

What is your approach to learning these solos?
@Rick_Cleland23 күн бұрын
I would take them in small parts.
@MangoGuitar17 күн бұрын
I listen to them and then either find the tab or learn it by ear!

You need to get better on relationship of your pickings and fret. There were still cutting parts in your solos
