That Leona misses so many E's because she expects the players to move and dodge like Challenger players. I find that whenever I play with my lower elo friends, I end up performing a lot worse than I normally do because I play too much like my teammates and enemies are as skilled as I am. And when I play with smurfs at my elo, I see them flaming us for not following up or not being on the same page as them. You have to play to what your teammates are doing, not what you want them to do.
@Eraktab5 жыл бұрын
Same for jungle routes. The number one league tip imo is: be unpredictable. I stand still sometimes laning into a Yasuo with his tornado ready. Do that 2-3 times, then switch it up and dodge really hard to go for a safer 1v1 or trade. People recognize patterns so you can abuse that by feeding them the patterns you want them to see then changing it up. A lot of laners know the basics of how jg full clears work, so they dont expect same side clears and rapid repeat ganks.
@FriendlyFireNA5 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised that Leona didn't learn to adapt quickly. During laning phase a Thresh, when my Q has no kill potential, I do a few test runs on the enemies' personalities. Some tend to not sidestep. Some tend to backstep when I pressure. Some sidestep in certain direction cus of habit. Even if it's bronze, you should be able to test it out fairly quickly and adapt.

The first point lacks an important precision also: "everyone" includes us. We're all pretty bad a way or another. That doesn't change the frustration about our teammates not being up to our standards, but acknowledging that it's a matter of difference rather than a matter of overall skill level is what prevents someone from being an entitled jerk instead of focusing on his own mistakes.

For me as support. My ADCs for some odd reason always want to die when I roam. I communicate it too, full wards the whole shabang. They still die to the botlane then flame. Yes, Vayne players I'm talking about you.
@helgenlane5 жыл бұрын
Because what are they supposed to do in a 2v1 lane? Miss cs and be zoned? If you leave them with something like BC or Thresh, they will die for sure.
@Haustark5 жыл бұрын
@@helgenlane no it's not beeing zoned and play the 2vs1. You should roam when you get a kill or you shove a wave. If your adc dies when these goals are met then it is adc fault because he should have recalled or follow you on the roam. The same goes to roaming from base, it takes 20 secs to get to mid, even less with mobis. If your adc can't wait 30 to 60secs without dying it is not your fault. And that is the reason why some lanes are lost, ppl can't give priority in lanes and wait for the minion wave to crash and farm safely.
@helgenlane5 жыл бұрын
@@Haustark please explain how an immobile adc is supposed to not die for 60 seconds against a hard engage bot. Unless minions are pushed all the way into you and said adc just has to farm under turret.
@truthisasword58315 жыл бұрын
@@helgenlane that's not the case most of the time, and blitzcrank and thresh can be avoided more so thresh. If I roam it's a even lane usually to begin with or the ADC is up. They should be capable of maintaining. Just like when I play bard if I leave for a little bit farm under the tower. You dont sit in the middle of the lane and twiddle your thumbs.
@helgenlane5 жыл бұрын
@@truthisasword5831 "can be avoided", but no, they can't. The chances that they are going to land cc are too high. Most of the time, the only thing an adc could do while support roams, is stay back, try to get xp and hope that enemy will push.

Hi, 1 I think analysing low elo games is more relevant to teach low elo players how to play solo q, because it's solo q. 2 I really want to request a guide on the following topic: As low elo players, like me, tend to over extent when they're behind (as you mention in this video towards the end), what is the correct way to consistently create comeback opportunities? In low elo, comebacks are generally generated by lucky teamfights or the enemy's incapability to close out games. Which, in this last case causes the losing team to catch up over time by reaching their individual power spikes. I am a jungler of the aggressive type (Lee sin, jarvan, Elise) so the jungler's perspective is always welcome. Thanks!!

The interesting thing is that u could really accomplish much more if u just think of your laners as "sucky". - If u think it would be wise to pick Soraka, cuz we have good bruiser that u can heal to death - think again, he might lose 0/4 and there would be no one to heal (so enemy will just focus u, and see ya all the fun) - if u think that ur support will save u from enemy's support engage's - think again, and just take sivir with her black shield. And so on... Basically just dont realy on other ppl, and try doing the best that u can do. That advise really working. Of course team synergy is improtant, but if u uncomfortable with your pick for them, just play whatever u comfortable with. P.S. when u play ADC dont realy on support, when u play as Support, dont rely on ADC. Not even to mention other team...

As a player that is an all-rounder, I think the first mindset is a no for me. I just motivate my team to do better when we try to make a play. Mostly... I tell them what to do but when I die or plans fails, I let them do as they please. I mostly play the role of Support and let the ADC follow me, not the other way around. I give pings to let my team know what I am about to do and give them a specific time of CD my ability or summoner spell. I think that making yourself become readable by your teammates is best so that they know what's up and what you're about to do so that they can either tell you it's a bad idea or let you do it while they make a plot to wipe the enemies.

Thank you for the guide, just tried it in a game, as morgana roamed mid to help my zed, got him a couple kills and then proceed to watch him get solo killed by a vladimir 2 times in a row. Useful guide tbh

I disagree. If you look at the chat Kai'sa compliments the Leo multiple times, including calling her "so **** clean" and complimenting her on her roam to save mid lane.

Bunnyfufu does this thing where he plays in bronze/iron and he misses skill shots sometimes. There's this one video where he actually screams in frustration "I CAN'T READ BRONZE!!!" I laughed so hard at that. I think it's the same situation here where Hector is expecting the opponents to predict his moves and try to juke, but in low elo that rarely happens.

The fact they were 9-2 up at 10 mins and Hector set up every single kill, in different sides of the map...you can actually feel the elo difference in this one

I had a friend that tried this with blitz and was so behind on exp and gold that was useless for the rest of the game, I don't mean don't roam but it's not as simple as "keep roaming all the game" just because low elo will make mistakes, supports have value beyond the usual "I'm not taking exp from my adc"
