Thanks so much for continuing to bust myths scientifically. You're one of the few people that I trust on the internet, and I share the information as much as I can. Both on my channel (with credit to you of course) as well as amongst my gardener friends. One of my favorite videos on your channel is the one where you busted the myth that Peat harvesting is bad for the environment... It really opened my eyes. Thanks once again for all your thoughtful research.

I have a wood stove in my family room where I keep the majority of my houseplants so it can get pretty warm in there that combined with grow lights I find my plants almost grow better in the winter months provided I can keep the humidity at a reasonable level. 🌺💚🙃

My bestie gave me a small "indoor" lemon tree 🌳. I quickly went and brought a larger pot, filled with fertilizer rich soil. Watered it accurately. Put it in the window where it got plenty of light. Wolithin days it seemed like it was choking or gasping for air. My other half has a green thumb, he put it in the garden, for three days and there was lightening and thunder. 😮😮😮 I gave him an earful & brought it in again. I noticed it started to die again. So I gave up on it, so I gave it back to him. I'm extremely lucky he's not one of those "I told you so" guys 😂😂😂😂 he has brought back my cactus and money plant to a quite healthy stage. The first year or so they were thriving in the kitchen window, but as soon as I changed the soil it started to die off. I wven put stones inside the pot to prevent root rot. The beautiful red flower that bloomed on it never came back 😢

I move a lot of my plants outdoors for the summer. It’s easier for me to water them. I’m lazy and just use the hose. 🌺💚🙃

Thanks. Do you have a video where you explain how much fertilizer indoor plants usually needs? I have a feeling they need more than what is on the other side of the fertilizers.

When i buy philodendrons, they turn out to be terribly root bound and drowning in water, which is how i figured it out..I have lost 3 so far, but am determined. This last one, a micans variety, has the leaves curled up, is squishy. Have loosened the roots up to an inch from the top, put it in a pot 1.5 larger, in well draining soil and it looks horrible. The top feels wet after many days of no water and the middle of plant, has the leaves dying and going bald, with long tendrils on the sides, now. But, I just did this transplant.. When do i water, if senter shows high water on a meter, sides dry, long roots in dry soil? Can you advise, if i send a photo somewhere, please? Thank you!

Easy solution, put your plants in the shower once or twice a year. Cool water, wash off the dust and give your plants a good soak. Don't forget to let them drain well.

i liked the information in the video but the title and thumbnail are kind of misleading since most of the 10 myths are not directly related to growing better plants, such as somebody believing that they produce a lot of oxygen or co2.
