The youth and desire men have even your husband if your lucky grows very hard into something else. If your man is older had surgery and need time after working many years. You have to be realistic. Men do not see you as beautiful baby moms and your husband may nor be what he was. Lose of a spouse or your parents happens as we we get older we become care takers.

I know this is controversial Tracy, but the #1 negative-influence on my entire body aging, especially skin, was depletion of Estrogen and Progesterone from menopause. At 54, I had enough awful menopause issues, and did not have significant risk factors, I was allowed to try Estrogen (I was already on Progesterone for endometriosis). It changed EVERYTHING. From skin, to pain/achiness/stiffness, depression, sagging breasts, energy, belly fat, low libido, bone density/posture. I felt, and looked, like a new woman. Looking in the mirror at my body became more bearable. Anyway, just this one woman's story of a true breakthrough.** And don't let 'old' research dictate your decisions. New research shows that in most cases, the benefits outweigh the risks. Osteoporosis and heart health are significantly IMPROVED by HRT.

I am still about thirty pounds from my goal weight or ideal weight as my Doctor has told me. I am now watching where my fat distribution is and targeting those areas as I don't want to look like a skinny old woman, but just more toned. Wow this is a great video. I skeptical of these types of videos but great advice: don't over-exercise! wear readers if you need them! Wow no one has said this to me and I am def. at risk of over-exercising/under-eating in an effort to look young. That's not kind to myself and doesn't even work, I needed to hear it from someone else. And you've taken way my fear of getting reading glasses. I'm the same age, 49, and you know what? You are so right, we are alive, we are here, we are lucky, we have so much to enjoy. Thank you.

Great advice and I agree with everything you said here. I’m 54 and people guess me a lot younger, I am no longer skinny coz that ages my face. I no longer wear a lot of makeup just don’t look right anymore. And keeping things looking fresh and glowy is so more flattering. You look gorgeous and remind me of like a young Angelina Jolie. Love your vibe and energy.

I’m 54 and last year I got really thin, trying to attain the body I wanted and I got down to 118 pounds and I’m 5’4”. My ass disappeared and my face was positively gaunt and I realized that I looked terrible! I made a choice and I chose my face over my fanny and gained about 18 pounds. My face looks so much better and it’s totally sustainable for me. I love that you talked about that, thanks girlfriend!

I would add to "update your bra." I used to buy the popular VS bras bc they're pretty, but as Ive gotten older (61 now) I've moved on to better & more comfortable (still pretty) bras. Great advice though - be a life-long learner, be optimistic, change your hair (it's just hair, it grows back for pete's sake!) and remember to cultivate joy in your life.

My natural hair color is medium dark brown, however, in my 20s & 30s, I will dye it dark brown or black. I loved the contrast against my light medium skin… well Not anymore! Now I found it made me look older in a bad way, so now I use the retouch applicator and dye it “Medium brown” just on my grays… and it ends up looking like my natural hair color. Plus it doesn’t look so harsh.

Thank you. Great information. I would add though that foot health comes from the use of your whole foot. So bunions come from squishing our feet into shoes that are too small. There's lots of videos out there. Foot health is also directly related to pelvic floor health. They are finally starting to make some wide toed shoes that are cuter.

I´m wearing a pair of Birkenstock (pretty and modern though in a kind of fabric in a beautiful lavenderish/jeans color) with socks 🙈🤣 (I know, it´s really a no no, and I´m from Milan)! It´s just that I traveled to India a few days ago, in a new cute pair of sneakers. The combination of completely new shoes and swelling of feet occuring during the long distance travel left me with really bad blisters. So I need to protect those blisters and wounds I already have from dirt, and also my feet are still in pain and a bit swollen, but I totally agree, cute shoes are important.

Speaking to your comment about glasses. I have to wear progressive lenses and I make sure to buy glasses that are well fitted and I stay away from the glasses that cover half your face. Subtle cat eye glasses are very flattering if you’ve lost some volume at your temples and under your eyes stick to shorter glasses you have to do less work with color correction and concealer because your glasses will help take away from any imperfections. Do the work of trying on dozens of different styles of glasses while wearing your go to makeup and find the ones that truly enhance your good features and diminish your problem areas. It makes a world of difference. Don’t worry about having to wear glasses, make it work for you and believe me you can be more attractive with glasses!

@tracycampoli you mentioned shiny hair… I have Hashimoto Disease(thyroid disease where mine doesn’t work) I’m a yr into diagnosis & working on getting it under control. My hormones were way out of wack also. Again working on those as well. But what is recommended for very natural curly hair with having these issues? I switched to an all natural shampoo and it’s helped my curls curl beautifully but the thickness of hair has depleted & there is no shine anymore. Also in the middle of a very nasty divorce from a 37yr relationship😢He’s a serial narcissist, so asking him to be an adult about anything is like climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro. I’m on a journey to get healthy again and my hair is one thing I’m focusing on.

As for makeup, yes, ‘80s makeup was, in a few words, in your face. But older women need COLOR! We lose it as we age. Now, I’m not saying harsh, neon colors, but definitely something to perk up our faces. And I never went for that dead ‘90s liver lips trend so popular back then. But ladies, like she said: you do you.

Women today do look younger much longer now even without cosmetic procedures. I think we live our lives better now too. Doing more fun things even when we are older. I have several issues that make it hard for me to be active but I will not give up doing things and going places till I have nothing left. Then ill go in a scooter lol. A doctor told me in my 20's I'd be in a wheelchair by 50. Umm no, I'm 60 and still on my feet. Takes way more effort now, but I have 5 grandchildren, 16, and then 1yr, twins 2 1/2 , and a 5 yr old, too many places to go, fun to have.

So true about when we get real thin we age. I lost a lost of weight when I started running up hill, and my face aged 10 years in three months. My body looked like I was 25, but my face looked 70. I refused to stop running, and I refused to look so old, so I just went for a deep plane face/neck/brow lift with fat transfer, now I look 15 years younger than I am. The fat transfer was what really did the trick.

Don't ask your friend, ask a professional hairdresser. First of all, not all your friends wish you well and want you to look better. Second of all, professional hairdresser knows what they're doing and what will suit you best. (Yes, not all hairdressers do, which is why internet reviews are your friends.)

I Hi, I'm 71 and I wore Shooties for 8 hrs yesterday & I was on my feet all day. I found that my feet are different sizes because of foot problems, so I wear 2 different types of socks with my closed shoes. Who is going to see your socks? Also, Amazon sells a product called Shoe Stretch, it's in a spray bottle. It gets sprayed into your shoe, you wear the shoe for 1-2 hrs after spraying t let it stretch the shoes stretch to your foot shape. I always keep an extra pair of flat shoes in my car if I need to give my feet a breat, then put them back on before I get where I am going. Great Stuff!
