Hi Naila, I've been following you for a long time and I picked up many of your tips to learn english, which is my first foreign language that I'm still learning. I've progressed a lot since I can fully understand you without subtitles which is something that I struggled before. Thank you for your helpful content! Greetings from a spanish guy😉

First of all, thanks for your videos. I am a working professional (a software engineer). Every day I watch food bloggers videos in English, I often watch interviews of famous people such as Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, etc. in English. I mostly watch English movies. I also have to communicate with colleagues in English over Slack / emails at work. This routine has been almost like a decade. But my speaking is bad compared to my routine. What am I missing?

Any way you try to learn 2000 words it's going to be difficult. I think the lists serve a purpose in concentrating your effort on the most frequently used words, but as you say to really remember a word you have to actively use it, through speaking and/or writing.

Kakak. Saya mengerti semua perkataan kakak tanpa melihat subtitle. Tetapi hambatan saya dlm percakapan, salah satu keraguan atau kekawatiran saya adalah, apakah jika saya berbicara dg orang lain, aturan tensis saya sudah benar ?
