You're definitely right to an extent. Or more so to a certain rank. Im currently diamond and tier lists definitely matter at this point. If you bring Widow, Scarlett, Jeff, Cap, or Squirrel into these lobbies you're definitely going to struggle hard and reduce your teams chance of winning. I get the game is about having fun but there comes a point where if your fun is coming at the expense of 5 other people its kinda rude. This is only really applicable at a high rank though. You simply cant really play certain heroes at diamond or above unfortunately.

I've seen players in those lobbies (Comp and tourney) on Jeff, Cap and Squirrel but they are definitely the exception. Ultimately my point is just about understanding what is best for each situation and not solely relying on playing S tier characters all the time

W video. Just some thoughts ive had. This is what people need to hear. Most creaters put Black Widow in F teir. She is better now, but regardless, people shouldn't be shamed for playing characters they want to play. Not only that, you need to work to improve the character you want to play. You also have some people who are incrediblely disrespectful when they want you to switch characters. In those cases, I've grown to not engage with these people. If they ask respectfully, I'll consider it. I have also had situations where I was underproformimg in the first round usaully the first game in the session. Then I lock in in the second and third round and do well. If you swap every time you struggle and won't improve. I understood if the team needed a healer. That said its always a dps player whining about it and not ever switching to healer them self.

I think it depends on the situation. If you can turn around a ranked game by swapping it's a good idea but yeah sometimes sticking with it is good too. It can be tough when you've never had a good Widow on your team though

Yeah for the most part. A bad Hela is going to be bad even though she is really good, but both team compositions matter too. A great Magik will probably struggle into Namor, Peni and an anti dive squad
