crazy that this video drops right after seeing the best player in my pool is playing 28/26 and the 2nd best is on 20/18.5 and I've been studying their lines *hard* the last days...

Yep, those players probably believe and know that aggression wins, as evidenced by their tiny VPIP-PFR gap. GL learning from them!

I respectfully disagree with the small 3 bet raise OOP with the AA. Opponent has a 25 percent four bet and a 25 percent fold to 3 bet. Lets get some cash in there. Shrink up the SPR or hopefully get shoved on.

I am the student here, that villian would've folded ca me at a higher 3vet. My range of bet is pretty standardized, I purposely made a lower bet to induce a call here. If you go much higher vs that player, he will fold. It's not just stats, as I am in PA I am geo-fenced, therefore I only play against people from PA. That villian is know from higher stakes previous, plus the HUD I've gathered on him. Some of the other bets were misread slightly to what I was thinking, the the AA is spot on with m5 thoughts during the hand.

I think either large or small 3bets here are valid for various reasons, and I like you're reasoning behind the small 3bet. And like I said in the video, it appears weak. If he was the kind of player to attack weakness, then it could've elicited a 4bet.

You can't play the entire 3bet de-band on BB. Because in this case it will reach about 40%

say your deep stacked and you are playing this style and get 4 bet? with A10s+, JJ+, AQo+ are you 5 betting the top and folding the rest?

Mostly, yes. But, before you 3bet, always have a plan for what you'll do versus a 4bet. Don't just look down at your hand and say, "This is worth 3betting" without thinking about how your opponent will react and what his 4bet range is. If he's only doing it for value with QQ+ and maybe AKs, probably only 5bet KK. If he can 4bet bluff w/AXs and 88, then you can probably 5b shove AK and TT+.

Thanks, Jed. This video could open the fish's eyes. But, calling is a habit that takes time and intention to break. Hopefully, the fish who watch this video will go back to their fishy ways after a few days or a week.
