Hey I'm Chris from the video and I'm glad it hasn't happened yet. As you can see in the close up of the gentleman casting on the boat, the line goes everywhere when you cast, and in most cases you get away with it. That's why I still unfortunately am guilty of doing this, but once in awhile it's gonna bite you.

I have a had time getting the line out either I thought to hard or just don't understand how to do it

It's tough to know what to fix in your casting without seeing it but there are some common things to keep in mind. Don't overpower the cast, let the rod do the work for you. The line will only do what the rod tip does so if that rod tip doesn't track smoothly and in a straight line, neither will your fly line. The casting stroke needs to start smoothly and gradually accelerate when making a cast and then come to a sudden stop, the stop is what sets the cast and direction. Hope this helps!
