Hitting low is my biggest problem. I am very athletic and my approach is pretty good, but everytime i go for the ball contact i kinds rush and hit low and sideways. Do you got more exercises for hitting high?

I def have to improve Contact Accuracy. The drill is just holding the ball to the wall? Just making sure.

Yeah its the first part of a drill, you hold the ball against the wall for the visual and body position. Then you can practice the swing focusing on accuracy!

@@cameronperformance I on the other hand almost always have perfect contact, however my timing never feels correct and it makes me loose all the momentum. I'm 1.85m and can comfortably jump until I'm eye-leveled with the top of the net, but getting it all right, the momentum, the timing and the contact I can only get like once every practice and I play for 3 hours at a row. Which makes me think is not good enough. Any timing tips? I know I'm terrible with a vertical ball so I usually ask the setter to put it as straight/horizontal as possible and I get excellent results with this, but to achieve a proper spike, which is my current goal, I need to hit verticals.

Make sure you start your approach depending on the ball and setter - for many people, if you’re hitting outside, taking your first step with right foot as setter is about to touch is a good staring point. From there you can adjust… also make sure the setter is setting high enough for you to actually be able to jump and contact as high as possible. Keep on the grind brother, sometimes you just need to pounds reps in day after day until something finally clicks.
