My Dad passed 6 years ago, but he ALWAYS carried his hole puncher... EVERYWHERE... car, across state lines, stores, and ALWAYS by his bed EVERY night. And, it was ALWAYS loaded, and we kids were taught to shoot at age 3 and 4, and we KNEW not to touch Dad's hole puncher unless he told us to. Our permit to carry IS 2A, and there is a responsibility to exercise those rights, to first protect ourselves from government TYRANNY, second defend our homes and families, and third defend and protect innocent people when necessary.

The USAF sent us to AZ for our last assignment in 2006. We lived in AZ until recently. I went to a Ladies Only class at the end of JAN2020 after the border “flew open”. Bought a handgun. Got certified. I went to a CCW class to get my AZ permit. We are a Constitutional Carry State. I recently moved to SC. They are not a Constitutional Carry State. I still have my AZ Drivers License and plates but can’t seem to find a school as good as the school in AZ. They had every class you could imagine. I did CC when I first arrived in SC because of reciprocity. But no longer feel like I can. I’m 64 and do not want to go to jail. My plan is to go to the next available class to submit my paperwork and then have to wait 90 days to maybe get a permit if I pass the written test, shooting accuracy, and take down. I never wanted to move here!

@@beejp8 Men and women bled and died for our Constitutional 2A rights , and beyond that, I'm going to protect my family, myself and others when necessary...no matter what. This idea of paying for a permit to satisfy a specific state law is pointless when your life, or life of your family is on the line. A rogue shooter is NOT going to ask you for your permit, and any cop/ sheriff will tell you that YOU are the first line of defense, not the police. It's often too late when law enforcement arrives.
