Not here to argue at all, but there is a definite charm to those videos too though. The overall diversity, talent and personality makes this channel unique. The recognition of the upped quality is deserved, hope you will just make creative projects that can still include those topics like the photograph stencils and stuff too if the inspiration strikes you. Best of luck

I can't tell you how many times I've run a circle saw, table saw, chop-saw, etc. WITHOUT a mask. It's always later that I regret it, when I cough or blow my nose and think "HOW much of this did I breathe?" Even the regular ol' wood dust is reportedly *not* ideal for the lungs. Another amazing video! You're production quality is INSANE. Looking at all the work you put into Lego Mando is mind boggling. Legit scripts, beautiful sets. I do some lego stop motion, but you are on another level! I learned a lot from this! The whole idea of using other parts to provide momentary "squash n stretch" or motion blur is an idea I never even thought of doing. Brilliant! God I feel like this video was made exactly for me! (In terms of having both useful tips and being aspirational in terms of where my stop motion might be able to go some day.). Man you have so many amazing shots in the video too. Everything looks so great. So cleanly put together. I've been working on a video about making 3D printed winder rigs for lego stop motion, and I've been working on it since last Aug. and 1) I still haven't finished it, and 2) this video is more cleanly put together. I have no idea how you do it. The time you put in must be out of this world. I love your work. The whole thing is so inspirational. I'm going to watch it again! Thank you for making this, and inspiring me.

I've been animating Gunpla / Model kits with Stop Motion Studio for a year and the economical solution that has been has been delightful. As far as different ranges of starting animatable puppets the gundam / mobile suit kits have a lot of really fun options in affordable ranges! I am going to try to upgrade to dragon frame this year for some of the more animatory features that don't require touching the camera / phone, but this has been very helpful. I enjoy the stop motion insights very much!

Autotoggle seems a bit similar to how traditional paper animators will "roll" their paper. Basically just quickly flipping between the last few frames back and forth to make sure the movement looked fluid. Onion skinning is great, but the reason people would do this instead of taking their work to a light table (what onion skinning is actually mimicking) is bc onionskin just shows you where things were, but not necessarily how they look in motion, which is arguably as important. Though that's not to say both aren't incredibly useful! Just know gotta know how to use yur available tools.
@TheCrafsMan Жыл бұрын
You nailed it! That's a much better/clearer way of saying it than how I did: "onionskin just shows you where things were, but not necessarily how they look in motion, which is arguably as important." Excellent advice! Thank you for watching!

11:46 Thank you for showing this! I make stop motion and I think it looks fine, but then I put it in an editor and then KZbin compresses the quality so all the hard work looks bad sometimes. It's helpful that you show how you really can fix it in post (some times) cheers!
