The skills and care for details are very high for both the video and the build. I imagine that the love for modelling is equally high!👍🍻 I build this kit several years ago and I experienced many fit problems with the bodywork and cowlings.

You did fine work on this classic Revell (ex-Matchbox) kit of the Auto Union Type D racer. Those scratch built upgrades and 3D Printed parts are a big improvement. But with your skills, I suspect you could have still made this classic kit shine as an out-of-the-box build! My Like is in the 5.5Ks.

I have this kit unbuilt from Matchbox. I am not a big fan of European race cars but this car REALLY floats my boat.I WISH REVELL if possible, would make this kit in 1:25 scale. Imo , it would sell like hot cakes !

Another exquisite build, you must be unique with your stop motion technique and no boring bits showing you cutting parts from the sprue. This kit is notorious for bad fit with the fuel tanks and the height of the carburetors preventing the cowling from sitting flush. I'm curious how you were able to overcome these difficulties. Kudos to you.

I am having exactly the same problems with the fuel tanks and carbs. It's a shocking model really. Good to know others have found ways to overcome them. Tom has done a brilliant job. I'm really struggling to get that rear cowling in place 🤔
