I got the Unite Warriors version. On its own, it's immediately 5 times more G1 accurate, comes with Slingshot (they don't call him Quickslinger...) instead of Alpha Bravo, and I have to agree with you; it's amazing. I just got the PC-03 sled and head and they're AMAZING!!! The hands and feet are on the way from Bejing, so I'll be waiting for awhile before I have the complete experience. Btw, if you make sure the neck piece on the new head isn't stuck up in the chin, the head stays on very nicely. Just make sure he isn't looking downwards and you'll be fine.

I really like this video because 1, it's awesome seeing what you did to make them better, and 2 it's also a good guide on how to make your Superion better, and even though I don't have any Combiner Wars Aerial bots I still like coming back to see this video.

I think the hip issue is an artifact of the way Firefly's sprues were set up. Firefly probably had the thighs and hips on different sprues, which didn't matter for him because they were going to be done in the same color. But when it was redone as Quickslinger, they couldn't mold the hips in black without molding some of the bigger white parts in black, so they decided the least intrusive option would be to just cast them in white and paint them black. Still frustrating, but figured someone would appreciate the insight.

Great review.. Though when painting your figures you should consider masking off the areas that don't need paint for smoother and straighter lines.. Testers spray paints, or Krylon Shortcuts should make the job easier.. I myself made a mess of trying to paint Fireflight into Slingshot 3 times and failed, but succeeded in making advances, but eventually I ended up like you. I bought a Quickslinger and gave it the United Warriors treatment.. Because of your review I purchased the Reprolabels upgrade and the PC-03..

Great video. the only problem I have with a lot of the combiners is that a lot of the combiners only have five bots or cons total that form the super robot. Devastator, my favorite, has six. The robot that forms the shoulder, chest, and torso is one robot and on devastator it's two robots

I've thought about it, but it's a lot of work because there's no predefined shape for it to go. might actually be easier to glue a tail fin that doesn't rotate to the end and rip the rubber bits off, but idk if I'll end up ever doing that

I love this this is the Mega version of Superion but i would prefere the cartoony viser face and superion being combined with Alpha Barvo instead of fireflies twin brother and one question can the new head fit inside of silverbolt? Like the old head is isnide of silverbolt's chest?

Slingshot is marked up to 4x the price in my country, it's ridiculous! So I bought a CBB Blast Off and colored him in the Unite Warriors color scheme. That costs me $8 as a whole (CBB Figure + Spray paint). Best custom job I ever had to do.

Great video man! I think you're right, Superion is clearly the winner of combiner wars. The hands and feet from Perfect Effect are so damn good hey, I'm still on the fence about the chest and head upgrade. I've still got Alpha Bravo and Dragstrip as team members of my Superion and still it's mega wicked. Not sure I want to fork out AU$130 for Quickslinger and Air Raid just yet but it'll happen... damn scalpers

There is a upgrade set for defensor that makes him loom absolutely amazing and almost 100% g1 accurate and is my favorite combiner because of this set its the c+custom THC-02J but its quite expensive
