Stop number two, I-55 raceway…“We need more motor” 👀

In this video we continue our journey towards Menomonie, Wisconsin and we stop into a place we’ve been wanting to race for some time. We found out quickly that the local competition is stout and the track is really fast.
By the end of the night we felt like we had gotten much better. We will definitely be back to this one!

So glad you got to try one of my favorite dirt tracks! Love the speed and the racing room of I-55! My favorite viewing spot is standing at the top of the turn 3 fence. Not many tracks let you stand right on the wall. Good luck the rest of the season!!

Young man you're one hell of a good race car driver you tried all the little tricks at that track to get speed. But I will be honest it is definitely a big motor track. In the summer months it is a dry slick monster. A lot of hot shoes raced there through the years and a lot of them was the best drivers around the midwest region. You did a good job hope you guys can make it there again.

Ran some races and won a couple at I55 back in 1997 driving for MULLINS RACING ENGINES it was fast and awesome back then and i know its more awesome now..my toughest competition then was Nick Hoffmans DAD Darrell and what a super sport he was ..you can say you been there now Chase and give that MB custom ALL IT CAN HANDLE THERE AND THEN SOME AND YOU'LL BE COMPETITIVE ENUFF..GO#45

This will be a long comment, but if you guys see it, please read it till the end!! What a truly amazing family you all are!!! Humble is what I say ya all are and I think the best word to describe the #ChaseHolland #45 family! I’ve been a subscriber for a long long time! Maybe since the beginning but I can’t say for sure cause I don’t know and I won’t make stuff up. But if I missed the very beginning, I’m sad for me cause I obviously missed out and I am always looking forward to seeing your videos and I am super sad (like right now) when it’s over because I know I gotta wait for the next one to come! I love all the content you provide from the shop shenanigans to the racing, and the fact that you show the good and the bad and let us inside your family by showing the interaction with everyone and everything in between! I have one suggestion that I would love to see on the channel and that is seeing Chase talking about the night while driving the race rig to the next track or back home. Providing it’s safe for him to do? Maybe his beautiful girl or Mikey could work the camera while he talks?? And if you’re ever willing to have some free labor for a weekend or week or whatever, I’d be willing and would absolutely love the opportunity to hang out and help ya all with the prep! I am 51 years old, own and operate an auto repair shop and absolutely love dirt track and drag racing. I have been a gearhead since birth thanks to my father who was an accountant by day and street rodder, car builder, and drag racer by night. A very good friend of mine used to crate race a late model and then went to super late model and then his son (the driver) got married and decided to have babies which is when it all quit. I helped every weekend on that team and miss it sooooooo much. I’m born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania which is were I still reside but would have no problem driving to Success Mississippi for the opportunity to hang out with ya all and help ya roll to the front. I’ll pay my own way, but would love to be able to ride along in the motor home or totter home or (hell) I’d even ride in the trailer to just be able to have the opportunity to meet and help such great people. And it won’t be hard with Chase behind the wheel. He can for sure drive and has talent that none of us has seen yet. It’s only gonna get better from here and I can’t wait to see him wheeling that super around the dirt!! And if you would agree to this, and you’d allow it, I could bring my 15 (soon to be 16) year old son (my best friend when I don’t have to be a dad…lol) with me?!!! Much Much MUCH Love and Respect to ya all! I Love how the entire family is part of it all!! Soooo nice to see in this crazy world we’re living in today! ❤️and 🙏🏻to ya all!!!

_i have not had alot of time to follow the channel like i used to So it was nice to see yaw and see chase and how much he has improved into a Professional Modified driver and With a little more HorsePower he would have come up thru that field, hell he was on his way il,if that was a longer race like 40Laps he would have finished at worst top 10_

I-55 is my old home track, I love that track. Hammer down, don't lift until you see God, then lift kinda track. Give it the beans and all the steak you got. I hope that you enjoyed Pevely, Federated Autoparts I-55 Speedway

I55 draws comparisons to a smaller Eldora. The racing styles is so close. Inside wall obviously, but many nights the bottom the the fast way around by the end of the night like the Big E.

You could have picked up an extra 37 hp just by putting colder plugs in 2, 4, 6, and 8. When the car rotates over to the right side, there is more fuel in those cylinders. The colder plugs will allow that fuel to burn at a slower rate, therefor producing more horsepower. Also you needed to run about 40lbs of air in the right rear and about 4 inches of reverse stagger.

We raced there back in the day very fast high momentum track, track is wide with long turns and short straight aways with high bank turns. yes it is a motor track.

Good job, you keep it moving forward, raced with Kenny, nice show. The rule of thumb from the old days is. If you not flat footing it all the way around the track, you don't need more motor, you need more chassis tuning. The bottom line is , it looked like y'all were having a very nice time, enjoying each other and the evening God is Good safe travels
