I love seeing new players play this game lol. Here's a couple of tips that I've learned over time (i'll put them below a read more in case you'd rather figure it out for yourself) . . . 1. the emf does not mean much about the ghost being there. not directly, anyways. it means the ghost is interacting with stuff, which will usually be around where it is, but no emf does not mean the ghost isnt there anymore. emf reader is great for if you hear an interaction but you're not sure what it was. Over time you'll also learn to recognize interactions by sound, and when things are out of place. 2. Early on its super helpful to find the breaker and turn it on, both for the sake of getting lights on (maintaining sanity) and for getting the house warm so you can find the ghost room by temps (the ghost room will be colder). On the small street houses (tanglewood, edgefield, ridgeview, willow) it'll always be either in the garage or basement 3. when the front door shuts and locks like that, that means the ghost is hunting, so you need to shut off your equipment and get to a hiding spot. I gather you knew that from your efforts to get away but maybe you didn't know where you could hide. On ridgeview, theres a spot next to the fridge (right between the fridge and the wall) that works really nicely as long as your equipment is off and everything there is a lot more but im not trying to leave an essay

You are an absolute blessing!!! I had no idea that EMF worked that way and that lights effect temp as well as the hiding spot next to the fridge. I am for sure going to have to try these out next time I hunt them ghosts! 😈
