I'm still using my Zziplex Dream machine. I think I've had it about 35 years. Always had a small Abu multi on it.

Where i live sunderland century is the main rods but now a fair few conti rods showing up here on beaches ect here . And the stiffer rods going down south in numbers . Good to see new rods going up and down the country . Sand shingle rocks kelp mud a rod for all venues . Good vid tony

Is the likes of an M4 GT likely to be OTT for around the Essex and Suffolk area? Most year round other than dire weather conditions, and the odd trip elsehwere once or twice a year. Am looking to get myself a matching pair of top end rods to see me into my twighlight and always hearing people raving about these rods

Century rods are incredibly high quality. So we assume the Zziplex rods made by them will be high quality too. Time will tell.

Not quite a real zippy, all that shrink tubing and metal rings that's a century gimmick and using American tackle rings instead of fuji not for me, i bet Terry is turning in his grave...😮

One good thing though, theyre now being made by another British company known for top notch work, right here in Britain. Could have been worse and the same thing as what happened to Penn and Abu, ie being made by "Pure Fishing" in china
