Whem wearing hot-weather clothing that works well in normal conditions the biggest issue I find is when it is windy and the loose fabric doesn't stay draped down because the wind blows it tight against the body so it behaves more like a tight-fitting garment in the direction of the wind. Short of walking backwards into the wind thicker fabric with busy designs or patterns such as plaid are the only things that help in these situations. The wind can sometimes blow the fabric tightly against the "valleys" and prints the outline of the grip/slide where otherwise it would easily drape down and not even touch, much less print.

Do weapon mounted lights help the keel principle? And does the length and size of the light help? Trying to decide if I want to carry a tlr7a or tlr 1hl. Tlr7a sounds more comfortable because it’s compact but I’m unsure.

So, if I may, one thing you haven't brought up is my clothing. Do I need to buy my shirts a size larger. Should my pants have an expandable waistband? What do I need to consider when I buy new clothes? Thanks

Generally, IWB means that your waistline grows about 2 inches, so slightly larger pants may be needed if your trousers are already tight to begin with. If you're ok with looking like "tactical timmy", Truspec's 24/7 series has a tunneling waistband that allows for flex when wearing your gun IWB.
