Oops, something got cut around 7:33. We are now betting polar on the AK2 flop, overbetting or checking.

for sure mixing correctly gains ev but i heavily doubt people that have problems splitting their range correctly on the turn after range betting flop will have an easier time if you give them one more street where they need to mix correctly.

I never range bet unless heads up against a nit. I only equity bet if I actually flopped some equity.

Hey, man. What do you think about the 4 categories system? If we always choose only one bet size and then follow this framework as precise as we can, do you think we can get solid results on lower to mid stakes? I really like that framework.
@MicroDonk Жыл бұрын
It’s fine for lower stakes, but the betting range is too equity driven. You won’t have enough air in your betting range, so when a straight or flush comes on a later street, you lack bluffs.

@@MicroDonk What about to use a simple RNG framework were we allocate draws 75% of the time in the category 3 and then we allocate all random bluffs without draws 25% of the time in the category 3?
@MicroDonk Жыл бұрын
@@ghjk5827 It is better to construct a framework where you are thinking about your range instead of using the RNG. For example, on a board like KQ2 if you never barrel a hand like 65s or J7s or T7s, you won't have enough bluffs on runouts that complete the straight. Even using an RNG, it is hard to hit these airballs.

It's okey to bet range some spots vs guys who overfold flop...but problem is then on turn cuz their range is to strong...especially in wide spots when people should defend unnatural stuff. Turn aggresor should check back a lot on turn if they 'exploit' flop...but ofc most of guys just clicking buttons :)
