I think it would be a great chance for Tim Burton to be as darkly comic (and comically dark) as he was in Nightmare Before Christmas and james and the Giant peach...although he would have to keep that autobiographical nonsense he injected into Charlie and the the Chocolate Factory would have to be kept well out of it

As much the critics panned it, (and it flopped at the box office) I actually enjoyed watching the Fantastic Four reboot with Michael B. Jordan. I've watched it about 10 times. Wish it was longer imo. I think movies like the Larenz Tate classic "Dead Presidents" should get a remake, but with a younger cast (late teens-early 20s), Kendrick Lamar could definitely do a sequel to "Menace" as Caine's younger cousin or different character in a updated version. Kevin Hart would be perfect for "The Toy" (Richard Pryor classic) or Whoopi Goldberg's old movies (Jumpin' Jack Flash and Burglar) even though I'm not a major fan of his work. BTW how come Tamera seen Mahogany but not Claudine?
