I just don’t understand how IT gave diminished contributions. If your the main guy and are a scorer the Bulls making a gameplan to minimize him and bc of that letting his teammates to eat more offensively is a big contribution. Also I hate the recency bias when it comes to current players and injuries. If Twitter was around back then I bet IT played through hella injuries too. Him going crazy in the playoffs with one foot is just as great a moment as anything CP3 has done in the playoffs

It’s NOT. That doesn’t make you a better player because you have a ring, that makes a case because of GREATER LEGACY, CP3 has played bad in 2 or 3 series but other than that he gets injured, his teammate gets injured or wins series it’s that simple. Zeke’s Leadership isn’t the primary factor into a championship, CP3 is a better PLAYER than Thomas it’s that simple.

The fact is in team sports context matters bc we can see everyone isn’t playing on an equal playing field. IT was never better than MJ. He had a better team. The roster around you matters. The management matters. I’m not trying to dismiss the production of the individual player, but I think it’s intellectually dishonest to say the playing field is equal bc it’s clearly not.

LOW IS WEIRD Today you’re all about *black unity* but yesterday you’re using Kobe’s name for clicks, suggesting a guy with *no playoff success* is better than a 5x champion offensively. Now I see why you don’t value winning at all. You have a victim mentality. Same reason you hate on Kobe (a winner) like that. You gotta change your name from Legend of *Winning* to something else
@randomguyonyoutube1954
@randomguyonyoutube1954 Жыл бұрын
Just curious, in your eyes what does winning have to do with being a better offensive player? When comparing the two, do you feel that because Kobe's offensive peak (whenever that was in your eyes) ultimately translated to winning puts him above Jokic? If thats your stance its for sure a point I would agree with but Im just interested to hear about your criteria.

LOW's weak argument in trying to draw a parallel between being an oppressed minority in one of the largest police-states in the world and CP3 losing in the NBA made me lose a lot of respect for him. He realized he lost the argument as soon as he started creating alternate, imagined realities in try to say "What _if_ Kawhi didn't do X", and once people weren't giving any ground to him, he tried to pull heart-strings. 15 times CP3 went to the post seasons, and 0 times he has won. He's 15-1 in just getting to the _finals_. If you value winning and post-season success, then hold him accountable. If you don't, be honest and say that winning truly isn't something you value. Or be equally as honest and say that you won't hold CP3 accountable for anything because he's one of your favorite players.
@dariuswilliams3206

I think he values context. If I went around screaming Bill Russell the goat, Kobe could never, you would probably want to hit me up side the head with some context. With that being said, was his “comparison” out of pocket? Yes, but the message still got delivered despite the extreme.
@Knownas_DonDada
@Knownas_DonDada Жыл бұрын
you COMPLETELY missed the point and then just resaid the same thing he's speaking against. if an "oppressed minority" doesn't become a multimillionaire in the same "police state" are you now deeming him a failure in life because he "didn't get it done"? if you spend less time being sensitive about it, it actually makes sense. if the pieces around you aren't valuable winning pieces you're more than likely not going to succeed that applies to life AND basketball. MJ was 0-6 before he ever got to the finals, does that man MJ a loser before scottie pippen got there? there's not a player in HISTORY that has won a championship without competent help so i'm just confused as to why you're holding CP3 to those expectations. unless you have bill russell as your goat, you're just being sensitive and intentionally ignorant...tighten up bro please

Y’all know the end goal right? it’s WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP, not beat the bulls. I swear y’all would replace both titles with banners that read “we beat Jordan” and you wouldn’t have a problem with it. Isiah was the main catalyst, and if you knew how the bad boys Jordan Rules worked, the thing everyone misinterprets. You’d know that Isiah and Joe’s job was to make jordan work on defense just as much as he did offensively. They both had bad shooting splits not because they “choked” or underperformed but the goal was make or miss that’s more energy Jordan had to expend. But the rest of the playoffs Isiah was fine This is why they’re both overrated and underrated overrated because y’all hype up all of their abilities, but underrated because if not for Jordan y’all wouldn’t know who was on this team.

@@GregoryKeller and this is why I say people don’t understand the jordan rules. They didn’t hunt him because they thought he was weak at defense, they hunted him down because the bulls had nobody else, and they wanted their only chance to continuously work every second of the game. Even if Jordan ripped Isiah and Dumars or force them to take a bad shot, combined with the shot attempts, he has to never have a time of rest. Jordan can only get rest if he passes the ball and Paxon scoring doesn’t put fear in your heart.

This is my thing. I’m never mad at people criticizing cp not winning. Me as a fan, I do the same. I’ve been disappointed time and time again for the last 15 years so if anyone knows the REAL issues with cp it’s me. Difference is that I actually watched all those series and understand the context to why he lost, whether he played well and just lost to a better team, he played bad, or he got hurt. My issue is that the idiots that talk crazy about Cp never actually watch Cp, have extreme bias against him because they don’t like his personality, or they just straight up lie and create fake narratives about his playoff performances that they heard on social media. If u bring the FACTS and context, cool. But just saying he’s a choker and he’s never accomplished anything or had a good playoff series is just a flat out LIE!! Is he wishing washy? Absolutely. Is he reliable health wise? Not at all. Does he have a few blunders on his resume? Yes. But to keep perpetuating these bullshit narratives that simply aren’t true is ridiculous.

Say it again!! The thing about the NBA in particular, more than other sport, I feel like the casuals HEAVILY outweigh the people that actually watch the games. That’s credit to the NBA due to their marketing, but I believe they definitely have more casuals than any other sport.

The main issue is none of these children will take the time to read your comment but they’ll see “CP3 a Choker” and that’ll somehow get a thousand likes. It’s like everyone wants to be a basketball fan bc it’s cool but no1 wants to sit down for 2 hours and watch basketball nightly. And that’s the bare minimum btw. Having a billion opinions on 460 NBA players meanwhile at best most of NBA fans watch 60 games max is beyond wild 😂

I don’t really weigh certain guys losing or winning as them being bad because Chris Paul never had the same level of players as zeke that’s such a bad argument when you argue player to player who’s better than you have to look at skills and level of como but if you’re looking at who’s greater then you use accolades. Greatest and best are similar but not necessarily the same. For example Bill Russell has a better career than Giannis but Giannis is probably better
