@@MrsEats It is because of your outward expressive personality. Anime characters need to be expressive to build character. This brings up a question. Do many adults watch anime in japan or is it more comparable to comic books in the west where you would be seen as a nerd for reading them when older? I don't mean being obsessed with anime. I mean more like casual watching.
@MrsEats
@MrsEats 3 жыл бұрын
@@stimpsonjcat26 it’s very common for adults to read comic or watch anime, I think. Japanese people have lived with anime (manga):) so if you like anime, you are not necessarily a nerd or to be called nerd! If so, most of Japanese would be nerd! (And I’m proud of being nerdy!!)
@stimpsonjcat26

@@MrsEats Here in the U.S there is a stigma about anime. Back when anime really started being popular here (in the 90s) it was kind of an underground thing and a lot of people thought it was all animated porn for some reason. If people heard you watched anime they thought you were hentai lol. A lot more people understand what it is (mainly due to miyazaki's spirited away IMO) but now it is seen more as a nerdy thing by most. It is still kind of seen as hentai due to the fact that a lot of anime reaching the west in the last few years is fanservice anime.

On the topic of corn on Pizza I did not know that would be such a controversal theme 😂 My best friend and I love to buy some prepaired pizzadough in the supermarket and than we put hollaindaise sauce (in germany a lot of people eat it to asparagus (which i don't like 😂) and you can easily buy it in small packages) on it instead of the tomatoe sauce. And than we put our toppings of choice (meat for me and vegetarian for her) in it and also canned corn and greek sheep cheese We love it 😂🤤 But we also have pickled Baby corn in glasses and sometimes also put these on the pizza I love your Videos. It is such a Joy watching you 💜🥰🌸

Buu impression was great. I actually had my only pair of glasses break while in Kyoto. I ended up stumbling around Nishiki Market until I found a store with a tape dispenser on their desk "Tepu arimasuka? Tepu arimasuka?" My japanese still is very bad. Luckily while holding my broken glasses what I wanted was conveyed. I still have the glasses as a memory from that trip. The tape still holds out! Although I don't wear them anymore.

I like the song titled in the USA "Sukiyaki" by Kyu Sakamoto. Sorry I don't remember the Japanese title but it was the first ever Japanese song to make it to the top of the charts here in the USA.

I remember listening to city pop in the early 2000's ,even my japanese friends of that time had not hear a song about them, but the very first contact with city pop was in the early 90's or late 80's when lots of japanese anime came into my country through french translations, all these anime were wearing City pop openings and I didn't have a clue about it.
