Hydra is as solid as they come... I would like to see more views on this strap... but it will increase over time I'm sure. Thanks...

Sore shouders at our time of life are something that you have to expect, i am no chicken either at 68! i have never played at a gig, but even at home a neck heavy guitar can soon give you aches and pains that don't go away anytime soon. Once you have found the perfect postion, you could stop it sliding with some self-adesive velcro. Hope you are keeping well Tony.🙂👍

Exactly... it's something many don't talk about and even in the studio here we have recorded for hour after hour and it does get you. I know D&A from some years back and their stands remain the best stands I have ever used so when they offered to send the accessory I jumped to do it really. Yes I'm OK but I just completed two of these sort of sponsored reviews - this and the Sound Blaster - that is generally hard to create the videos but I have lots of bought stuff to come on presently... thanks for the post and for watching.

I was looking into getting a thick strap like that as Ive gotten a couple 10lb+ Les Pauls recently. Great guitars, but heavy, and both want to slide off my leg when Im sitting. Thanks, Tony!

Oh those should be fun... I once saw a 13 Lbs Stratocaster :) it was a Robert Cray strat and hanging on the wall of (I think it was) either Sam Ash or GC in Florida... I bet they still have it! :) Thanks for watching...

Hi Tony. Again a very useful video. One question that nobody ever answered me. Like on ES guitars you have the neck strap button on the rear of the body. How do you prevent it from "kipping" to the front so you cannot see the fretboard or front of the instrument?
@tonymckenziecom Жыл бұрын
On the guitar I showed, there is the typical button on the back of the guitar near the neck, and the one I fitted is under the top horn (there's a pic in the video) and that does not seem to affect the tipping forward. I get the point and its a useful question, but I never saw that problem myself... in fact I have never even considered that one. Good question and thanks for watching.

Start weight lifting. If you do deadlifts with 150kg don't even notice a guitar aroud you on stage.
