I don't see why people are so against reps. They all come from China anyways and the quality is just as good. People are just too scared to be called out for wearing something fake but I really don't see the problem with it

The problem is ... out there we have a great a good core quality brands..? By skaters for skaters, all those multinational brands take advantage of the skate culture and turned it into the trendy fashion of now, just to have more money. I'm not saying that if you want to buy some dunks or Sb don't do it, but there are better options on the market, for skating I say.

I was looking through my photos yesterday and remembered that I used to see Dunks, Jordan’s, and Nike SBs are Ross and Marshall’s for $25-40, though I did find some 2 weeks ago for $50 lol

Dude fr you go through shoes so fast, I would go to goodwill and look for vans because they work for me and i usually find some there for around 10 dollars, and I always try to find cheap alternatives to spending $60 or more on skate shoes that will probably last me a month

I personally use to skate dunks when you could get them in the CCS catalog lol. That was maybe 2009 for me, fast forward to now I started skating again and decided I wanted to try some. I bought authentic dunks and personally don’t have a problem spending that much, but also for me I really liked them and know I’m not going to win a draw lol. If you do get a pair get leather ones like the Cognacs that’ll last a lot longer

i sell on ebay, and sell a lot of used vans consistently. honestly im thinking a lot of them are skaters because it just makes sense to by used shoes if you are gonna skate them and destroy them anyway.

back in 2015-2018 i was buying them and skating them they have some of the best mid tier combination of board feel and support. plus the design of the shoe is just so iconic and a piece of art

People complain about the price. Nike SB Dunks here in Australia are $140 to $160. ALOT of Vans are now $160 to $200. People lap Vans up like anything. DCs are by the far the best bang for buck skate shoe.

I totally agree, spending more than $100-$110 on skate shoes is insane. regardless of your economic status, it's just not practical to buy a new shoe every month/other month if you skate regularly....

I also think income levels make a difference, if you can afford to blow $1,500 on dunks you're gonna skate to shreds by all means, props to you. But I understand the budget conscious skater too, usually skaters are 15 - 25 and don't have the disposable income you do later in life...so to each their own. I noticed that you and Loval Joe got flowed some replicas recently and then promoted the replica sites in a video...wondering if you're being paid for the promo or not?

Ordered a pair from the site, I wouldn’t recommend it. Compared to the authentic pair, quality and fit was off. Plea is too expensive for fakes anyway, just find a reasonably priced pair of dunks used or new. They are out there

It's way cheaper if you order directly from china using an agent, websites that sell reps for 150 get them from china like 40-60 and sell them at a higher price.

haven't copped a pair of dunks since '15 or '16 and got em for a good price at nike outlet but I never skated them until went pismo beach last year re-teaching myself to skate but as of right now im only sticking to blazers Tyshawns n cons n axions cuz of dunk craze and resell price change cuz there's no way im droppin 200 more than retail to a band on skate shoes that I am just going mess up

I've been using Adidas Busenitz Vulc IIs, which retail for $70, but, you can regularly find on sale on Adidas's website for buy one get one free or 20-25% off. Usually you can get them for $52-$56. The seem to be holding up well for me. I'm just skating flatland, but, I find them to be very comfortable. The honeycomb pattern on the sole hasn't wore through yet after several months of skating, which was something I was concerned about, but, it seems to be holding up well.

In the sentence “shoes that skate good”, define “good”. You can skate just abt anything with a flat sole, if you take the self image factor out the equation. Have several pairs of nicely broken in skate shoes to choose from and some of my best sessions happen in my gazelles or discount ccs canvas josh kalises. Dunks are hyped up way too much, people just confused and can’t tell the difference between the feeling of skateboarding and the image in their head of what to look like while skating.
