Tsimikas used to be a defensive-minded full-back who got into a heavy-metal Klopp System and it took time for him to play high line and react immediately on counter attack threats. As years passed by, he is now a well oiled deputy to Robertson who coils be wearing out. In that perspective, Kostas is better suited for Slot’s team that switches gears through out the game

Thanks for being objective . I absolutely love klopp but from what I’ve seen so far , slot has some better characteristics. Klopp used to be fixed in his ways , even against Madrid in the final he was going to play the high line leaving spaces open . He almost had too much belief in his team . But with slot it’s all tactical, he will adapt to challenges differently. If we look at games where Liverpool struggle in the first half , slot manages to make a slight tweak and we see a totally different team in the second half . He’s great at holding on to leads especially when 1 goal up . We used to struggle to do that with Klopp . The 5-2 defeat against Madrid is an example. If slot can keep this up and if it isn’t a fluke then it’s a promising season for Liverpool .

Klopp was what Liverpool needed at the time. He did amazing but had his flaws. I still love where he took us and anything sport gets this year is a massive reflection of what klopp built. YNWA

Tsimikas has always been good. Maybe sometimes he needed some playing time to get going but I've never been worried when Robertson was injured or tsimikas is starting. The same can be said for elliot for example, they don't get the hyped up much so people don't realise but they have the quality to start for us

As always, great analysis and video. Arne has been incredible so far and I always knew we have quality to compete in every competition (Klopp made sure of that), but whether we will end up winning the big honours, it's another matter. I'm not trying to pretend being humble, it's just the way I am and some fans are (especially Liverpool fans), because we've been hurt before and we know how quickly things can change in football. We don't need to be reactive and overly emotional, the start is a good indiciation of where we may be at the end of the season, but it is not a guarantee at all, it's extremely early. We still have 7 months of the season, and maybe in the years where we had prime Trent, prime Robbo, Virgil and the trio of Mane-Firmino-Salah I expected us to be fighting for titles until the last day, now is more of a hope. We have to see this team (Liverpool 2.0) reach similar levels and be consistent for 38 games before I can be more confident that we will win rather than we CAN win. Not to mention, we were 3rd favorites for the title in the last season and in this season (now we are 2nd maybe) and a lot of pundits, journalists, fans were expecting us to fight for top 4 at the most, so we shouldn't get carried away. If we can keep up this pace until the end of the year, we need to also get 1 or 2 important signings in January to make sure we don't fade away by the end of the season when we get tired or we get more injuries etc. So yea, great start of the season, nothing more than that right now.
