100% this helps control pill bugs. Pills bugs ate the roots of many of my brassicas last year. They also nearly chewed through the stem on one of my young tomatillos plants. This was the only thing that helped keep them at manageable level. This will also help manage earwigs.

Pill bugs don't hurt your plants, I literally put then in my plants and have had no problems. They are white dwarfs I bought online. It's probably something else killing your plants

I had a terrible time with white moths, pill bugs and aphids last year. It was a nightmare. My wood raised beds took a beating from the pill bugs especially. Thanks for the tip. I usually spray the foliage of my brassica to kill the white moth larvae and it works great. It doesn't help with pill bugs and slugs though.

Thanks Gary, another excellent timely video. I have volunteer potatoes growing in 20 gallon containers. I have beer traps which help a little but I’m pulling slugs off every night. I purchased the slug/snail bait. Is it ok to use in the 20 gal. containers? Is it ok to water the potatoes with the bait in the containers? Is the bait cat friendly? I heard this method is falling out of favor due to the collateral damage to earthworms. I view this as the nuclear option now, although it is surely the easiest option. Other options being using straw/pine needle mulch, crushed eggshells and coffee grounds on surface, the terracotta pot traps youve shown, beer traps, making a bird-friendly yard, etc

do these kill ants as well? I bought them, and sprinkled all over my garden . watered , waited not even 5 MINs and the ants are carrying them !!! I hate the ants also they bite me, and they have an underground tunnels, I can't get rid of them. but I hope it helps kill the ants, and Rollie pollies. I don't mind some , but when it's destroying my garden then what's the point..... they ruin all my green beans I planted last year , this year I was able to use my green house to start the seeds, but even when I transplanted them to the ground they or some other sort of bug were eating them!
