It is not just bangers who stand in the transition zone. It is a lot of rec players. Great video,.

and the tips just keep coming. just started 3 digs yesterday with a sport rebounder net i got from the clearance rack @ walmart. i put the net on the other side of the net near the kitchen line stood at the transition zone and fed myself a bunch of balls. it was fun, exhausting but fun. then lo and behold PTP has the same thing i just did. paddle up PTP paddle up.

Another excellent tutorial Nicole. I would add 1 other thing: more than any other shot, it is critical to keep eyes on the ball, easy to neglect as the ball is at your feet

Thanks Tom! Yes, very true. Good tip!

We use this game a lot when drilling. But have changed the scoring to reflect the difficulty of staying ahead and maintaining that lead. And the difficulty of being behind and trying to stay in the point to close the lead. This is where the mental aspect of the game can be won or lost.

Absolutely. Great work! 👏. Keep it up 👍

Good video. Nicole, you used to have a chart about resets. What to do if ball goes to far or hits net, etc. I can't find it!

What is a reset shot???
@primetimepickleball2 жыл бұрын
A reset shot is a soft shot you attempt to drop in the kitchen when you have been attacked. It's wise to choose a reset shot instead of a counterattack when you have a low contact. Essentially you are attempting to "reset" the point back to neutral because right now you are on defense.

Love this tip! I find myself like a deer in headlights until I can get to the kitchen
@primetimepickleball3 жыл бұрын
You are not alone! Many players feel that way. Get comfy in that transition zone with your drops and resets. Spend lots of practice time there. Like maybe even to the exclusion of everything else for some time. It’s a game changer!
