Thank you for this! I love this. I feel guilty buying so many gifts for my kids. I don't buy for them throughout the year, besides birthday and Christmas, so I end up going all out on Christmas (which I don't necessarily like, because I don't want Christmas to be all about the presents to them). I need to figure out what to do. I think my indecisiveness contributes to buying them too many gifts, if I can't decide which gift they'll like more, I buy them both! I need to practice saying no. I am actually learning about boundaries with my therapist!

We love to do an annual family "gingerbread" house competition! - At this point it's with graham crackers and store-bought cream cheese frosting, and whatever little candies and things we can find.

We’re not celebrating this year. We are getting together for family dinner with games etc. no gifts. The more we were set in our traditions, the further away from God we were getting. I’m sure we’ll work out some kinks along the way. The focus will be to continue growing in our walk with and for Him.
