Mark, I will find my swing this year. Love watching your course vlogs, watched more of them this weekend than the match play event on tv. You guys are not any different from me and my golf buddies when we visit Myrtle Beach each year and play new courses. You guys make my day, love watching Rory, plays much like myself.

Thanks for doing another one on this topic. This is what I am working on and I have found that I am striking the ball a lot better I just don't know if it is straight to a pull going to come out but it is nice to know it is not going right. Still needs more work but getting another shape is a great feeling. Thanks Bruh

This may just be the best Masters for YEARS with Phil, Bubba, and Tiger all firing as well as the new guard of Johnson, Thomas, Rose, McIIroy, Fowler, etc. all going quite well atm too. I'm hoping there will be more great course vlogs from America coming out after the Masters just like you did last year. Enjoy the trip!

Lots more match play. Purest form of golf etc etc but it's the different tactics that are deployed and you get to see much more of the players skills as they try to match or better their opponent. I think it's brilliant.

Mark I have been watching your videos for years! I will have to say this is one of the best instructional videos I have watched from you. This is exactly what I struggle with and you video just made so much sense to me about some drills for me to work on to help. Thank you bruh! #masters #shotbruh

I had the issue this guy had, and tried the "Baseball" swing drill, where you swing the club like a baseball bat then slowly bring the club towards the ground club you should get the club a lot flatter in the backswing. This drill was so good that I've never changed my swing in 3 months, I just feel it's in a really good state

Drill #3 is very good Mark. I never knew the lower body rotation is what helps shallow the club on the downswing bruh! I tried all that "sling ball" stuff before and it wasn't working for me, but this drill is improving my game.

Because I love the Ryder Cup so much, I wouldn't like to see more match play on tour in case it took away from the Ryder Cup. One of the best things about the Ryder Cup is the fact that it's a bit of a treat to see the worlds best in a match play situation. If we see them in that situation more often then the Ryder Cup would be a bit less of a treat (my opinion) . So no, I wouldn't like to see more . I think the amount of match play events played at the moment is fine.

Hey Mark, great advice on finding idea to help 'you'. An idea that i used to fix out to in was to aim and align to the trees on the right of the fairway (I'm left handed) and then try to hit the ball straight down the left side of the fairway. My body instinctly refused to stand the club up. Is this a good idea or have I missed something technical?
@marchiggins36616 жыл бұрын
definitely love match play. do you work with your clients at all with physical limitations? the swing there looks like he struggles with losing posture possible as a result of tight lats which is why he stands up during the back swing.

Mark when I tried this at the range . In my words "clearing my hips on the downswing and whipping the club through on a flatter plane" i hit the ball right, quite a long way right. Maybe I'm opening the club face?. Stopping this was easy, basically recert to keeping the hips more static, however It felt like my clubhead speed fell back to its old slow level! More practice required!

I think usual tournament style is the better format for TV. Ryder Cup is very special and you have so many matches in parallel fighting for a team result and that makes it exciting again. One single match can be quite one sided as Bubba showed us and then it gets a bit boring as a format on TV.
@krychy6 жыл бұрын
How do we get you to analyze our swing? I find that so interesting
@andrewcrawford25496 жыл бұрын
I’ve been working on this for a while. The guy in the video is mirror image to me. But, what feels like laying the club down to me looks totally different in my videos, I still seem to be coming over the top with a high handle delivery.(help) keep posting the vedeos mark , great content. By the way watch the new kitchen.

A fan of matchplay in a team format, but not so much in singles. Current round-robin setup can result in lots of dead matches, with some players knowing they won't make it if the lose their first match. As straight up knockout didn't work from a sponsors perspective, with big names potentially going out early, maybe an event with a random draw to create teams could be fun?
@geraudcrowder32286 жыл бұрын
Yes, more match play

I like the match play. But, I’d like to see it later in the year. I think some guys don’t want to play or win because of the amount they have to play. When I play a skins game, I have a totally different mentality about my game. I’m more aggressive because I don’t have to worry about total score. This close to the Masters, I think guys want to be focused on stroke format. The Masters? Have you ever been there Brah? Probably should get a putter grip memento if so...Cheers!
@bigwill69746 жыл бұрын
Definitely more match play. Not too much more, but I do enjoy the format.
