How can I improve my motivation level to do certain essential things rather than wasting time on illusionary thoughts?
Stranded and thirsty You are stuck in a desert
Hour 1: Your mouth begins to dry. Your head begins to heat.
Hour 2: There is nothing but ahead of you. The ground boils while your legs become too heavy to lift.

But you keep walking
.
Hour 5: You see something shiny, you see trees and something shiny… something like WATER.

You get excited and happy. Suddenly, your energy is back
Hour 6: You keep moving towards it but the closer you get the farther away it gets.
That’s a mirage.
Your brain can’t cope with the absence of water so it creates hallucinations.
In a similar way, you create your fantasies.
Your brain can’t cope with the fact that your goals require so much effort so it finds an easy way out.
It makes you think and feel about your dreams, but never to act.
One day, I will live in a villa or I will travel to that country or I will fall in love.
It’s a coping skill; you get the reward from thinking without taking action.
If you let this go on, it will ruin your life
Because no matter how much you think, nothing happens without action.
The only way to get out of this mental mirage is to take action.
Whatever you are dreaming of, make a list.
Write down one thing you can do to get there.
Focus on taking that one step that will actually get you where you are.
