Cool video, picked up lw recently as someone who typically plays hitscan DPS and its shockingly fun being creative with his kit and shutting down enemy plays instead of my usual "gun go brrrrr", I think I tend to play a bit too far forward looking at your positioning

personaly i would use lifegrip to eneble my tank to play more agressive. you just gotta know what is happening from the other persons POV to get a good life grip. if your rein is like 50 HP and sheild botting for his life you should life grip him but there could be other senarios for exampe when your tank is in a tight spot and trying to back up a life grip can earn him better positioning without taking all the dammage when backing up.

Best way to use lws grip is to not use it at all 😂. Its jarring getting yanked from a fight that you saved you movement ability to get out of especially when your lw is muted and not in vc witch is 98% of lw players. I hate losing space because a lw decides I dont need to be their. I rather die and walk back from spwan and take those 15 secs to think about what I did wrong last fight, for the next fight

i somewhat agree with you, most LW players think that if they grip means that they saved you, not thinking about - your position - your pressure on the enemy team - helping your allies breathe while you take damage. and so many more so i agree with "not using grip" is also useful XD

I've played with so many great lws and they were all mostly in vc telling people what they are going to use grip for and just that little communication goes a long way and can carry a match. Once you've played with a great lw player its so ez to tell the my goats from the my woats.

That really doesn’t make sense; there’s countless situations a grab can be a group fight changer or the equivalent of an invulnerability bubble, mostly including ults. All those scenarios you named would just fall under “bad grabs”.

You know it doesn't have to be pulling you out of fights to save you when critical, it can also be used to save you from a pin, falling off the map, most of the ults in game or if your pushing too hard.

yeah but its a good way for your dive tank to get a get out of jail card. as long as you are on coms or know if your tank is about to get a pick it usely works,
