In a "real" studio situation, sure. You'll want your entry point to be as good as possible regardless, and this looks like a solid option. That being said, you do mention "bedroom" in the description, and for the vaaaaaaaast majority of people an interface that costs $6000 US is not even remotely viable. Most musicians that work from their home, outside of those who outright have proper studios at home, cheaper interfaces *will* be the better option. You'll get better audio quality, but basically all of the main "cheap" interfaces (Focusrite Scarlett, UA Volt, even Apogee's own One) will do a perfectly serviceable job in a home recording setting without spending the same amount of money as a used car. Of course, for a full-tilt studio setting capable of Atmos, etc, you'll want the absolute best, but there's definitely a use case for both "cheap" and high-end gear.

there is a certain depth in the low end that i feel from the titan which i loved. The apogee was tighter but the lush feel of the titan. Man i loved it ...but the symphony sound stage and transient processing is really something. You have made a fan out of me for sure. Great video bro. Look forward to seeing more like this. The way in which you communicated your assessments was easy to understand and the blind tests were a very welcomed addition. Thank you for this.

these test always confuse me because i'm not sure what exactly you're testing here. so you're sending a final 2-track mix from your converters DA's, into it's own AD's, which means you're hearing BOTH it's DA (which doesnt actually affect the sound of the mix, it affects your perception of the mix thus you make different mixing decisions) and it's AD's (which definitely does affect the mix, but only if tracked thru the interfaces AD's.) so i guess my question is, what are you trying to show us here, how the DA converters sound (since the DA has its own distinct sound it's not an accurate representation of the AD's)? The pre amp test was solid since we're really hearing the difference in the AD converters. maybe i'm wrong in my fundamental understanding somewhere, definitely down to be corrected. great video!
