With me leaving tarot was a natural process. It was like you've gained everything you can gain from this now it's time to move on. Out of nowhere I lost interest in tarot and it became boring so I stopped watching it. But it helped strengthen and confirm my intuition to a point where I no longer needed it.

Beautifully said! I have close to 30 Oracle and Tarot decks combined and they are all in a box in my closet on a shelf. And have been for about a year now. I realized that I wasn’t trusting my own intuition. This is true for people who are weak and don't know how great they are. But If you KNOW How Great You Are I think it's okay to play with them. As long as you don't rely on them as being the ultimate decision, because You're Right YOU KNOW BETTER than any cards will tell you. I have several decks mainly because I Love the pictures. It is so crazy that this popped up! I believe in this too! I kept getting repeated signs and synchronicities. It seemed like it was coincidences at first but kept happening to the point where I could see these signs and know what they were referring to. I had a dream when I was not sure what the signs were trying to tell me. Then one day when I wasn't even thinking about it while I was in between being asleep and awake somebody in my dream said "Yes, the answer is..." and it was still hard to believe that it wasn't just me even after that.

I am not sure how accurate KZbin pick a card readings are to take them as more than fun anyway but sometimes they may confirm something you already knew if you are at a high vibration but sometimes they may confuse you and drain you. I always knew that tarot and pick a card readings are only for fun or confirmation or even just an understanding of what your CURRENT energy is but nothing to base your life off of. A tarot can not tell you "no" to something your destiny is showing you repeatedly! Regardless of your cirrent energies the Universe throws things your way to be in alignment by the time the blessing comes as long as we let go and follow our inner guidance.

I think a better way is to learn acceptance for the things we cannot control in our lives and focus on using our experiences to adapt when necessary. Tarot has been used as a coping mechanism to validate or bring assurance without the guarantee of accuracy. Find other outlets to empower your self when assessing a situation. I was never keen on reading books before but I started off by googling articles written by real people who were in similar situations in me and how they were able to overcome their situations. It really helped bring perspective and appreciation for my situation and how to react more effectively. Tarot cannot do that for you because you will always be in a loop of possibilities instead of facing the situation head on! Other ways I empower myself is through hypnotic sessions to reinforce positive thinking and break down limiting beliefs. I find these outlets more valuable and effective than seeks validation from a tarot reading that may or may not happen!

I stayed to watch tarot when someone close to me that I thought I was going to be with married another woman I agree with you but I have no life even without it watching tarot. No one asks me out, no one tries to love on me and I am afraid of the impending future of loneliness. How do I get that resolved? I cannot trust myself because if I was to be trusted why did I put myself in that situation and hoped for the best. That was so stupid. I was so stupid to trust myself and others. Why does it seem that there will always be opposition when people start to connect with something honestly positive. I've got news for you. In order to be legal in most states in the US and many countries around the world, you need to add the disclaimer that this is for entertainment purposes only, no matter how spiritual the reading is. Where I live in PA, you need to be a reverend to be a spiritual advisor. It can be a $10 ordination obtained on the internet. It's really important to know your local laws if you do this work. You can give the most spiritual readings, but you need the disclaimer to stay within the law.

How could tarot open your mind to other options when your own mind could come up with so many more options as opposed to tarot with it's limited amount of cards? Surely, our own imagination can come up with so much more, or using something like automatic writing would give you a much wider window of options to 'unlock your thought process' but even language has its limitations..tying yourself up to any specific method is a limitation in and of itself. Oh and if you're also using it to 'clear your mind' that definitely doesn't have the effect for most people. It puts things in people's heads that makes them close themselves off for other options.

Using tarot cards is a tool to tap in to your intuition. I don't think people need to stop using the cards, its a skill that you develop and the cards are a reflection of your self reflection journey. It is a journey to tap into your higher consciousness. I use tarot as self reflection not for divination. You seem to be higher developed so tarot may no longer be of use to you but it may be something that others still want or need to use at this time. I agree with you on most things except when you say dont use them. Use it as a tool not a crutch. I definitely agree to not give your power to someone else in a reading but hone your own skills to develop that within yourself. Tarot is brilliant for that, especially for a beginner.

I agree with you. 🤗 I became interested in reading Tarot on KZbin about 9 months ago, when a long stay in a toxic family relationship led me to a difficult mental state, and I didn’t know where to go next. It was difficult for me to leave this relationship, because my partner categorically did not let my son go with me, I could not leave my son. Having become interested in reading cards, i feel that its helped me to understand some things, i'm grateful taro for certain psychological help that I needed. Over time I felt also that my nervous system had become more unstable, may be coz of high expectations from life, which came after taro.
