I'm a recovering addict who uses the Bible app daily and it's truly a complimentary tool with a physical Bible this video is really harsh the app helps people access God's word that may not have a physical Bible....a phone can be a tool or a weapon but to call a bible app a weapon is harsh.

I think the point was that God’s word needs to primarily be in our hearts. Without it being in our heart and mind, we will continue losing battles. He’s not saying the Bible app is bad at all. But the end goal of using the Bible app should be retention of verses.

I am a new Christian, my parents are not religious so there is no bible in the house. So I read the bible on my phone until I can find a good bible. (If anyone knows a good quality bible that i can get that isn't too expensive i would really appreciate it!) God bless you ❤

I think an easier Bible to read is the NLV version. If you go to church, maybe ask the pastor or priest if they have a used Bible that is free or continue using an app.

Yeah but the Bible app can also be a good way to fight temptations if you’re out and about without a paperback Bible and need to combat satan with scripture. I’m hesitant to stop using the Bible app, because it’s still Gods word. Doesn’t matter the format, because I could carry around my little Bible in my pocket and essentially have the same thing.

Note: not to discredit Bible scripture memorization, that certainly does play a part in resisting temptation, but you can have a good balance

Then why wouldnt you promote having the bible app on your phone then its more accessible to learn information about the bible and different translations and search scriptures up because no one remembers scriptures from reading the bible they remember the story so why not just combine both? Not trying to troll. I am looking for a Bible app. Who carries around their Bible every day. A Bible app doesn't necessarily take the place of the Bible, but it is handy because it is in a phone. This is so extreme. To each their own.

Your obession with your values is far to complacement to consider that the bible changes with age and time, theres things like prairy men and riding lhamas, do we do that now? i dont think so. im thankful that my god can be known through more ways, especially with the world turning to modernizion instead of religion. this isnt the dark ages, let people talk and know god the way that they must instead of trying to make them worship the way you would like. thanks.
