I wish more tent companies added the extra pole to make a luxury vestibule. That is a great feature on the Crua.

I have the Nemo Aurora Highrise 4p tent. Love that I can stand up in it.

I love that the Aurora’s windows open from the inside but ultimately chose the Wawona 6 because of the extended vestibule. It really is a huge advantage in rainy weather. We were able to store items and cook in a rainstorm.

I just use my budget NatureHike backpacking tents these days lol. Anything bigger than a 1P backpacking tent seems like a palace now. Cheap dome tents are fine. $70 Coleman Sundome 3P tent served me well. Survived 30 mph wind and comes with a welcome mat that I use for backpacking. It'd be cool to chill in a huge canvas tee pee tent.

Any really cheap larger camping tent I’ve had hasn’t lasted. However we camp a lot and the investment into a better tent has paid off.

@@BackcountryExposure I don't use it very often these days. I just dusted off the Sundome after 2-3 years. Going to give it a try tomorrow for car camping. Gave it a quick drenching with a garden hose and it seems fine.

I had a Peregrine 6P that was similar to the Wawona and the vestibule was awesome!

Question man. When you showed the Nemo Aurora what was the extended room?? Like a mudroom or something bc I cant find what it was

Ah. Sorry for that being confusing. That tent, that’s green and huge is the Nemo Wagontop 8P. Nemo discontinued the Wagontop last year and have focused on the Highrise as their main big camping tent.
