Swing Highs or Lows are actually 4 candles. You need the 4th candle to confirm the Swing and the direction. Only 3 candle with a higher or lower candles to the right and left are not Swings!

In my opinion the concept what you talking about it’s for expect a retracement. Cf : ict core content month 1 Equilibrium versus Discount. The thirst three candles for the swing (high or low) and the fourth for your expectation retracement

Go back to the WENT series bro, ICT uses 1 candle to the left and the right for a swing

It is preferred as a confirmation of the swing. You do not need to wait for a 4th candle, not a requirement.
