In this case a fork/spade crimp connector would have been a better connection.

What Gauge Wire does this work upto ??

The kit comes with a range of ferruls to crimp from 22 to 10 AWG Gauge wires. Any larger than that, you may want to use a pneumatic or hydraulic crimper. I hope this helps you out. Regards, Garry

Actually for that type of connector - fork terminal is fir the quick connector, and rung terminal fir higher amperage suitable.
