What an amazing video! Thank you so much B. I realized that my biggest challenge with respect to a particular issue that worries me is surrendering to what is, acknowledge that I can't control it (among other reasons because it comes from something that already happened so here I need acceptance too..) and it occurs to me that maybe part of this difficulty is that it offers me the possibility of "escaping" from what I CAN control and do. I'll give it a thought.. Have a great day and week end you and everybody here, with Love
@Bernadette_Logue8 жыл бұрын
Wow, great insight Giovanna! .... that it possibly allows you to avoid looking at what you can control and can do. POWERFUL! That could well be the case, and seeing that would be immensely helpful in breaking the cycle and moving on positively. Bx

The problem im having with starting positive is I believe that I feel like I'm in a good mood that - after I am -- I don't believe I can shift easily from being positive into being able to defend myself through what I call appropriate aggression, or responsiveness to an attack from someone. So I leave out the positive start in order to keep myself reminded of how bad these people are in order to be prepared for their awful belittling and provoking techniques. How do I develop a better ability to shift from being too mellow like that into fight/ defense mode -- to be able to be more positive in the mornings thus removing more stress and worry through the negative thoughts of them. Ty Bernadette.
@Bernadette_Logue2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nate I hear you, and that self protection mechanism may well have served you very well at earlier points in your life, normally we develop such "strategies" either consciously or unconsciously, to keep ourselves safe. They are not always necessary or appropriate, as we may not have actually been in danger, but in some cases they are completely necessary to survive difficult circumstances for example. As adults we then realize we are running patterns, and can start to upgrade our paradigm of beliefs and the flow on thoughts/feelings, to have new strategies for dealing with life. It is entirely possible to have an empowered, optistimic, helpful and/or positive way of being, and to then in the face of a challenging situation or difficult person, hold a calm, clear and assertive position that honors and caretakes ourselves, while also not fuelling the fire of the other person or situation, such that a tug of war occurs (attack/defense cycle). For this, it comes down to cleaning up our paradigm and outlook on self, life and others, formulating a reality that serves and supports you and a way of being that will align to your values, preferences etc as foundational to the life you want to live. What we believe/think ends up fuelling everything, our behaviors, our choices, our work, our relationships our lifestyle, our health, every area is affected. So by doing mind mastery and conscious living practices, it benefits us in the areas we want to grow but also in ALL areas which is awesome :) I have two trainings that relate to what you have mentioned as potentially helpful for you. One is the Master Your Mind program, and other is the Live With Inner Peace course. I have free introductory resources for both of these below in case they are of interest, or there are lots of free videos on my channel that may be useful e.g under relationships, under finding peace :) bit.ly/2DTPFB9 bit.ly/3xP48sE Love, B

Awesome! Thanks! I actually started listening to an audio book on how to stop worry. But these tips where great. ;) I fell of my skateboard in a skate pool and hit my head hard 1,5 months ago now. And i have been feeling dizzy while outside walking, etc.. Still not fully recovered, but it is getting a bit better i think. But worry will not help at all. Just makes it worse. I will not have post-concussion syndrome for life. I hope.. Nah. Still. Worry makes it worse. So i am trying to learn how to meditate, and stuff. I will just trust in the universe ability to heal me instead, and try to live in the present moment. (But i think i can worry easily in life about stuff, and i will try and follow this video. Nice.) I must take it more easy.. Should rest more. But i'm glad i found this channel. And a woman with these tips are nice on youtube. I respect women, and they might be more in touch with feelings, etc. Not sure, but i think so. But nice with a female touch on subjects in life, that all people can struggle with sometimes. Anyways, i'm a subscriber now, and i will check out videos some other day. It's way late here now. Keep it up! Thanks for sharing! Peace out

I appreciate the advise u gave me but my problem isn’t like an an anxiety one. I find it hard to affirm it’s not true, like I know 100% it’s not true but my mind still worried and things about it. For me it first starts with thought (as I have been going Through this for over a year on my mind it’s just something I know will always happen I find it hard to convince myself not. I know it’s not true but I still had that little worry everyday that turns into pain and even worry later that day. What should I do? I need help with not fearing it because I get scared of experiencing the pain, the best thing I do is not think about it which helps but when at times it hits me hard I cannot not think about it, I try to, but it solidifies more in my head.
