Love the rundown on different tools! I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro for a while now, it’s great! But sometimes, for my social media captions, I find using boost app social's AI writing tools really helpful. It crafts your caption in seconds and I find it less hassle compared to full-fledged editing tools when I'm in a rush. Anyone else tried it?

Really awesome that you provided several options. I've been searching YT for a bit today and every other video only offered one suggestion which were always cloud based solutions. P.S Descript is awesome. The free trial gives you 1 hour a month of transcription, way more than others... the trade off being 720p max export. But no biggie if all you care about is the transcript. Cause then if you really wanted to, you could just take the subtitles from the export and add them to your original (assuming you didnt make any cuts).

Captions are ruining media. 95% of the time the captions are quite wrong, even after the review process. If you're tuning in to watch a video, you're copping the audio too. It takes away from the visuals of the clip. Everyone just wants the views, which is destroying integrity. If you're producing and posting content, get it right and be proud of what you've created. It's quite sloppy, but nobody cares anymore. Weird world.

I totally get your take on this! The driving factor for its success is the fact that most social media videos are consumed with the sound off (scrolling through the feeds in public transport/work/school). Which is why images and memes were so successful before. The “memefication” of videos opens up a wider consumer audience.
