Oh wow, this video is amazing. I've had very mixed luck with opals. No cracks showed up in any of my Lightning Ridge opal but the Andamooka keeps cracking even after grinding them out. The Ethiopian opal is totally random: sometimes it cracks when I look at it funny and other times it pretends to be as hard as diamond. Very weird stuff, but incredibly beautiful. Thanks for sharing again!

Amazing video as always sir. I Always learn something and I'm a true opalholic and watch opal videos almost religiously...but no one and I mean NO ONE cuts opal as large as you! I would have never thought to put our opal jewelry in water so thanks for that... I'd hate to lose some of the opal we own (my wife and I) and even though I've never won anything from you I also wanted to thank and commend you on how much amazing opal and gemstones that you give away...I mean you are not only very talented as an opal cutter and as an entertainer but also obviously very kind and generous... truly good people are more rare than black opal and you my friend are a 💎

@@PulitzerOpal I absolutely love your videos especially the opal videos. Im glad to see some honest precious stone purveyor as your a needle in a haystack. Rare like hens teeth. I personally have always been fascinated by opal and it's unique qualities. We have opal were I live but it's mostly clear without background ( not enough color play for jewelry ) I personally have never found any myself and have always wanted some opal from Coober Pedy or even better a opal nut. Unfortunately I can't get to Australia myself so I have to buy it online if I want. Last time I tried the guy I was negotiating with just took my deposit and ran. Weird thing was it wasn't much I just wanted a speci. for a gemstone display I was making for someone. As a result I could not finish the project. Also I lost a friend as a result of not being able to finish it.

Ok. The storage lesson was great! The cats adorable. But I must admit the stars of this show are the jewelry collection pieces. My goodness. Breathtaking. Ironically someone you know showed me a photo of a gold bracelet with a big, beautiful opal that had your signature on it. He suggested the lovely I got in one of your videos might make a nice bracelet like it. Great idea but the amount of gold was worthy of Fort Knox. Think I’m going for a pendant. Maybe in a gold medallion. Will keep you posted. 😉❤️
