It's kinda like the saying "There's no such thing as bad publicity." If everyone's talking about something, it doesn't matter if they're talking bad or good about it because they're still talking about it. Hate-watching something is still watching it, whether you watch it to talk shit about it or because its from a creator you enjoy. At the end of the day, it's still giving them views.
